Pours a hazy, barely translucent golden with a thick eggshell head. Malty aroma has fruity and yeasty notes. Flavor emphasizes fruit - pear, banana, apple, a bit of Mandarin orange - and sweet malt plus yeasty and lemon hints and a bit of hops. Smooth, firm texture has some good fizz. I can hear Jimi Hendrix singing a variation of "Purple Haze" now. Uh-oh, time to call a cab? ;)

Had this at the Summer NOVA BrewFest. Poured a slightly cloudy color with a small fluffy white head. Aroma was wheat, cloves, spices, and yeast. Flavor was pretty tasty - banana, cloves. A touch more carbonation to make this one really refreshing, especially since alcohol is pretty well subdued in this one.

On tap at Whole Foods in Market Square in Fairfax, VA. Cloudy, translucent, medium-dark amber copper with a small off-white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of wheat, cloves, sugars, biscuit malt, citrus and very mild banana. Taste of cloves, wheat, grain, yeast, biscuits, citrus and mild banana. Medium body and medium/high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Park Lane Tavern. Bronze beer with a thin but sticky little top of foam. The aroma has a bit of a funky funk, farm-housey thing. It drinks with a metallic-grape blend of stuff, I’m not really getting any weizenbock-ish yeast or normal character. Drinks a bit like a high gravity American wheat. (#5054, 6/9/2013)

Foxbush (1264) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAY 8, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2013 This was tasted at the Brewery in Afton. I was traveling back to Richmond form Abingdon. It was classified as "Hoppy". The beer was served with an orange peel. The cloudy orange beer poured with a small head. The beer had some bitterness but not like a pale ale.

On tap at Brixx Charlotesville. Pours orange with a slight cloudiness. Hints of orange peel on the nose. Nice citrus notes on the tongue. Has some nice linger to it.
