COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Breeches ESB is a flavor rich, malty, and hoppy English bitter style ale. It’s sweet with a malty flavor that tastes of apples and caramel malt. Along with that is a light hop flavor and smell with a clean crisp bitterness. True to the style, Breeches ESB is slightly less carbonated than other Blue Pants offerings and is also available in casks for use with a beer engine or for events.

Pint on tap. Clear shiny copper with a small ring of bubbles. Aroma is mild citrus, toffee and grain. Tastes of husky toasted grain, light citrus and maybe some earthy resin. Light-medium body is balanced and has medium carbonation.

Draft at brewpub. Pours brown with a thin khaki head. Not much on the nose. Big caramel and malt notes on the tongue. Has some bitterness on the finish to clean things up. Solid example of style.

Draft at Brewery. Hazy brown in the glass with a creamy tan that had some lasting and left good lace. Aromas of toasted malts. The flavor found toasted malts with a citrus hop backing. Medium body and a mild bitterness in the aftertaste.

An average beer which taste like the other beers they have out there. I would not really call this an ESB. Nothing very special. Its okay at best. Mild aroma, similar hop profile and yeast to other beers which makes it middle of the pack.
