COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppy brilliance. This beer is a beautiful batch of hop craziness for our hop head friends. Sound the trumpet for the alluring floral tastes and smells of this wonderful double.

Draft at the brewery. Pours almost clear copper with a fizzy white head. Tastes like strong pine hops, grapefruit, caramel, alcohol, a little floral. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet orange, grapefruit, pine hops, light caramel and alcohol.

Hazy amber pour with a then white head. Aroma is grapefruit, grass, and resin. Taste is resin, grapefruit rind, and earthy. Bitterness is bordering on the harsh side. Medium body.

SpringsLicker (3132) - Tennessee, USA - FEB 4, 2014
Pours clear gold with a huge, long lasting white head. Fragrant aroma, pine florals, citrus, juicy sweet malt. The flavor starts with some sweetness but the bitterness comes on and takes it all the way to the end of the long bitter finish.

bottle. the usual monstrous head with a muddy dark orange colored beer beneath. then the huge, fruity, tropical hop aroma hits you from 5 feet away. the flavor is equally as nice with tons of tropical and floral hop notes. a lingering bitterness in the finish. smooth full palate. a fantastic beer!

Suttree (5141) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Very murky orange, huge white head. Smells very piney, resiny, with a ton of caramel and toffee as well. Very heavy palate. Pretty typical Double IPA flavor profile - big piney hops, heavy, sweet malts.

12 oz. Mostly clear copper-amber with a humongous head and highly active body that settles into a lasting creamy disc of foam. Aroma is dank ash, grapefruit, caramel, plastic and resin. Taste is grapefruit, green herb, char and orange toffee. Medium body has a little too much carbonation and finishes well to the dry side. None too complex, but delivers on its premise and has a well hidden 8.7%. By far the best of nine I’ve sampled from this brewery.

Bottle. Poured orange with a frothy off-white head that had a thin layer lasting. Aroma and flavor of grapefruit, floral, and a caramel backing. Medium body, huge bitterness, and a lingering grapefruit aftertaste.

Draft. Poured medium amber with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor were lots of grapefruit. Moderately bitter -- not as much as I would have expected. Good bit of caramel and malt. Musty, earthy, odd touch of plastic. Alcohol is well hidden. Slightly slick, thick mouthfeel.
