from Mondial de la Bière, Strasbourg - quite clear dark amber-orange colour with a solid bright creamy beige head left; nice lacework; the nose shows solid hoppy notes with quince and resins; piney and honey presence; slightly sticky and full-bodied, a solid bitterness and a pretty dry finish; creamy and bitter fruity and piney hoppy aftertaste - very drinkable and very good

On tap at Ginger Man Norwalk. Poured a near clear amber with a red hue and a white head that lasted throughout the beer and laced nicely. Aroma was a combination of citrus and grapefruit with a bit of a backing pine bite. Flavor started with grapefruit and mellowed into a bit of a sweeter citrus finish.

Growler shared by nimbleprop: Pours a transparent dark copper orange with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty dark caramel and some fresh piny resiny hops. Starts with pretty good fullness and rich dark caramel sweetness with a crisp piny hop flavor before a drier grassy bittersweet finish.

On tap at Blue Point. Transparent copper amber with a barely off white head that lasted and left some nice lacing. Well balanced aroma that’s both citrus fruits and pine but also caramel and cookie dough. Caramel sweetness is the first flavor, followed by plenty of bitter, citrus hops (grapefruit and lemons) with a dry, malty presence at the end that cuts the bitterness. Finish is dry with some lingering bitterness. Best item on tap.
