Hazy golden color with compact head. It’s a light Pale Ale, crisp, with light malt and cereals touch, and light fruity (blueberry) touch. I was skeptic, but luckily it’s not a fruit beer.

from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse - pours a pretty clear blond beer with a long lasting white foam; solid notes of blueberries, herbal; medium-bodied, light sweet and with some sourness, quite dry and very fruity (more blueberries) and light sticky finish

On tap, Reno’s, East Lansing. Leaves impression of a failed attempt to mask a day-after, light beer keg leftover with berry-flavored cough syrup.

Has a nice aroma. You can smell the blueberries. Has a light body and light blueberry flavoring-not overpowering. The blueberry flavor is definitely more along the lines of natural wild blueberries and not artificial flavoring. Overall it is a good blueberry

Deep copper coloured body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of super pungent blueberry notes with a light sweetness and some light malt notes. Medium-bodied; Strong malt and fruit notes also show some sweetness from caster sugar and a bit of alcohol. Aftertaste shows some light malt and metallic bitterness, but mostly a super pungent blueberry flavour that seems fake, but is just very strong. Overall, a decent beer for sure, and if you like Blueberries, a very nice option indeed! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased by my dad from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 18-July-2014 for US$8,99/six pack on 18-July-2014 sampled on the train from New York to home in Washington on 20-July-2014 - Thanks Dad!

Transfer from BA review on 11-27-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a medium golden-amber color with a one finger white head that has a decent level of retention. The head holds strong for quite some time, but eventually fades to give a moderate level of lacing. Smell – The aroma is huge of a blueberry smell. Mixed with this is a very light bready aroma. The blueberry smell is a little artificial in nature as it is a little to potent and sweet, but none the less, it is quite pleasant and nice. Taste – A light bready and sweet blueberry flavor greet the tongue. These flavors are present throughout, but change slightly in intensity throughout the taste profile. The bready taste start out heaviest upfront (although not too heavy) but fade more and more as the taste advances. The blueberry on the other had starts out lighter and gets stronger as the taste advances. In the end a sweet and very blueberry flavor is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the rather thin side in terms of creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. The thinner body and higher carbonation create a rather crisp brew which is great for the sweet blueberry favors of the beer. Overall – A fairly tasty blueberry ale, although it may be a little cloying. Overall one of the better blueberry beers I have tasted. While not a beer I would drink on session it is rather refreshing and worth a try.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass and had a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than twenty seconds (that was quick). There’s not much lacing. The smell had some blueberries but a grainy/wheaty thing going on. Interestingly thick but combined in a decent way. The taste was mainly sweet but had that grainy/wheaty thing going on in the flavor. On the palate, this one sat right at a medium on the body probably because of that grainy/wheatiness that gives a bit of a kick in the finish. Overall, hmmmm...weird beer. I’m not exactly sure what to think of this beer. Probably not exactly one to revisit. Thanks anyways, Keith.

A finger of creamy white foam forms on top of a clear golden brew with some visible carbonation flowing up to though the body. The head quickly settles to a thin film and makes some lace at the top of the glass. In the nose I get the aroma of blueberries/blueberry like candy right after the pop of the glass. In the glass it opens up to include some light hints of sweet white bready malt. The flavor is right on with the nose. Light blonde or golden ale, check, blueberry flavor, check. It’s not complex at all and the fruit flavor is leaning more towards some real blueberry extract with a lot of artificial sweetener mixed in. Its light bodied, slides down easy, and finishes with the slightest hop bitterness and a little left over fruity blueberry sweetness.

That's some serious blueberry. Tastes like crunchberries meets beer. Not too bad, but really sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
