12 oz bottle served in a snifter. Pours lightly hazy, amber colored, with a thin white head. Aroma: blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup and biscuits on the side. Flavor: While the aroma suggests a sweet brew with a heavy handed contribution of blueberry flavoring, such is not the case: very balanced in terms of fruit/malt and sweet/tart. Feel: medium-light body; rather crisp carbonation with a semi-dry finish. O: well done and better than expected.

12oz Bottle. The pour was a clear light amber with an average (1-2 finger) white frothy head that reduced quickly, down to a thin cap that lasted throughout and had fair spotty lacing.

The aroma was a tad mild with a light grain malt, a mild doughy yeast and a bold scent of blueberries, but not much else.

The taste was mild like the aroma and had a lightly sweet maltiness in the beginning, and then a light infusion of blueberry crept in along with a slight tartness at the end. The flavor faded off the taste buds very quickly, with just a hint of blueberry left behind.

Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with an almost soft carbonation.

Overall I found this to be a light and mellow tasting brew with just the right amount of blueberry flavor. Definitely would be OK on a hot summerís day, when you want to have more than just a few... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

"Pours out a clear bright golden color with a slim, brief, white head and little lacing. The aroma is sweet-scented, aromatic blueberry notes, and enough underlying malty hints to remind you youíre drinking a beer. The taste is sweet, sugar-toned malts with very mild notes of faintly toasted breadiness to it. Blueberry flavor through and beyond the finish, naturally, which, when joined with the initial sugariness, is like biting into the sugar-coated top of a blueberry waffel. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation. "

Bottled 04/11/13. A golden coloured beer with no head. light berries in the nose and mouth. A decent body. The fruit is OK and not over sweet or over false but itís all too simple and ineffective.

On tap at Beer Authority, New York. Hazy amber colour with a distinct blueberry aroma and flavour. Okay but a little sickly.

Had on-tap at Green Dot Stables in Detroit, Michigan. Appearance: Orange -- no head, not really any visible carbonation, zero lacing... nothing to it, really. Smell: The best part. It just has a fresh, fruity, berry aroma to it. Thereís some malt, but thereís no denying that this is a fruit beer. Taste/feel: Eh... Iím surprised this beer has over an 80 rating. Thereís blueberry sorts of flavors, with caramel malts, and then itís gone. It could be really refreshing over something like a Shandy in the hot sun, but this wasnít anything special just sitting at the bar. Not bad, but Iíve had much better fruit beers. Pretty damn forgettable. On the plus side, this isnít overly sweet. At the same time, one is enough for me at once.
