Agreed on the aroma......strongly reminiscent of blueberry pancakes. A pretty weak beer overall.....mild in the flavor other than a fruity, sweet, almost artificial maltiness to it....leave it.

Aug 14, 2008 bottle from hilltop. drank from the bottle so i didn’t get a good look at the hue or head. tastes were obviously blueberry and lightly hopped. not the greatest fruit beer but not terrible either.

Aug 13, 2008 On tap at the brewery in LI. Was expecting sort of a gimmick beer but I was very impressed. Pours a transparent golden color, very prominent sweet blueberry aroma. Taste was very subtle compared to the aroma and palate was smooth. Only knock is that it tasted a bit watered down.

Aug 12, 2008 Smells like a blueberry muffin; one of the best smelling fruit beers I’ve had. Now, like most other fruit beers, there is a old seltzer feeling with it and the palate is very thin.

Aug 7, 2008 Updated: Aug 9, 2008Bottle, best by 10/2008. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Yep this smells like blueberries!! A slight hint of sweet pale malt peeks in the aroma as well. Flavor of more blueberries with some wheat and sweet malt. Good blueberry ale! Not too sugary, like some fruit beers and it actually has a good malt backbone. Solid. 7/4/7/4/14
Update 8/9/2008: Had this on tap at the brewery and it was even better. Tastes like a blueberry muffin in your mouth. Wow.

Aug 7, 2008 Bottle, best before 10/08. Aroma starts off strongly of blueberry compote, but then some pale malts mesh nicely as well. Flavor of crisp, fresh blueberries, lasting into the finish. This is a massive step up from the many misguided attempts we’ve all encountered of adding fruit to a boring wheat or golden ale. I quite like it!
