Pours a hazy amber colour with very little head that disapates quickly. The aroma smells like fresh blueberry muffins, but since it lacks any other complexity there, I don’t think it deserves a perfect aroma rating. Initial taste sweet and blueberry’s swarm the palate but not fresh blueberries more artifical blueberry, so the enjoyability of that taste is not that great. I understand this is a fruit beer but looking for some more complexity. Light carbonation and light body. This one doesn’t do it for me.

Pours clear pale gold with small white head. Smells strongly of blueberry, hint of hay. Taste is fairly bland, hint of blueberry, but not much there, a little sour.

Wonderful aroma of blueberries and grass. Pours golden with light white head. Thin texture with soft carbonation, and somewhat lingering finish. This is a light bodied beer with nice blueberry flavor without the over-sweetness of other flavored beers. What is missing is a little something more on the palate. Seems almost flat and too thin on the palate.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Light amber brew with white head. NIce aroma of blueberries. Taste is rather bland - a little blueberry atartness but not much else. A little astringency in the finish. OK brew.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy blueberry muffins and light grassiness. It pours a transparent gold with a three finger off-white head with decent retention. There’s a good amount of sticky lacing left behind. The flavor starts with a quick dose of honey that is quickly overtaken by some nice blueberry notes. The finish is lightly grassy. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, this was a pleasant surprise. It seems like a lot of blueberry beers (stouts excluded) either come off as artificial/candy-ish blueberry or sickenly sweet. This one was neither of those.

Originally reviewed: 6/16/11. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow. This looks just like a macro lager. 2 fingers worth of white foamy froth on top. Little retention. The nose is bursting with fresh blueberries. Very sweet nose reminds me of waffles, muffins, cereal with its grainy like finish. I dig it. The mouth is carbonated decently enough. A thinner beer that is meant to be gulped rather than sipped. The blueberries aren’t as dominating in the flavor as they are in the aroma. Buttered bread, toast, tart fruity quality. Undetectable bitterness. Blueberry aftertaste. This is not bad, heck, I actually want some more. When in the mood for a fruit ’n malt concoction, I’d reach for this again.

Its ok I taste mostly blueberry its a little too much for me. Its not fake tasting or medicine like some fruity beers but its just too much for me.

Sampled from a bottle, this ale had a clear yellow gold pour and made a more than one finger high white and faint off-white head, the effervescence was medium or so, this beer left some spots and small fingers of lacing on the glass, there were aromas of blueberry, light toasted malt and light bread with sugar sweetness, the flavors were some blueberry, malt and a little bread, mouth feel was light and was prickly/biting from the carbonation, I thought the bread malt and blueberry aromas mixed well but the carbonation in this beer made it hard to drink, tone down the carbonation a bit and this beer may be easier to enjoy.

I just got one word "blueberry". This is a decent beer with unique blend of the berries, I can see myself drinking this in summer but it also can b somewhat watery and over carbonated, can be confused with a blueberry soda. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Got this from a well-meaning trader as an extra. A light yellow lager with some blueberry in it. Yes, blueberry smell. A bit overcarbonated astringent mouthfeel. Not very drinkable.
