3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a cloudy gold with a moderate, white head. Malty aroma with some bread and grassy hops. Flavor is sweet to start with heavy malts then has some earthy, grassy bitterness. Medium in body with average carbonation and a smooth, creamy body. Finishes crisp and lightly sweet. Not bad.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From a back log of tasting notes, not sure if it is still available or not. To be honest, all I remember about this beer is what I wrote that day, the rest has slipped out of my brain because it was that forgettable. Simply put I wrote that it tastes grassy like a slightly heavier version of the usual pale lager style.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank from the tap at the Blue Point Brewery. Grass and grain aroma. Tastes like a glorified Budweiser; watery mouthful, sweet grain and malt.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Iíd have a hard time calling this an "imperial pilsener" The aroma is very sweet, grass, honey, corn syrup, sweet malts. The appearance is like any pilsener, clear straw gold, white head. Imperial pilseners Iíve seen tend to be cloudier and more orange. The flavor is like the aroma, sweet, malty, honey, grassy. The finish has an inappropriately light noble hop bittering, and is sugar sweet as well. The mouth feel is about medium, a little thick for this style. Not good, but drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Rattle n Hum: Pours a slightly hazy golden with a white film of head. The aroma is doughy, fresh, slightly worty with biscuity and grassy notes. Decent substantial creamy body. The flavor is also doughy, a bit worty- not really clean enough for a pils in my opinion with some vegetal notes and metallic character. Close to being solid- it just needs to be refined and cleaner.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler filled at Big Z and consumed the next day. Pours a mostly clear gold with a thin white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light-partial lace. There are also a few columns of slowly rising bubbles constantly ascending from the bottom of the glass. Pleasant aroma of malt, white sugar, and lemon. The flavor is mildly bready malt along with a bit of white sugar sweetness. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Iím not sure why they are calling this "imperial" with an abv of 6.48%, but whatever.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled at Blue Point in Patchogue. Pours a transparent, straw yellow with a thin, fizzy white head. Aroma is grassy, a little boozy, a little sweet. Flavor is all sweetness, white sugar, slight honey, grass, straw. Finish is slightly slick. A double pilsner? I donít know.
