Clear amber pour with decent hop aroma. All the grapefruit you could want in the taste. Maybe I shouldn’t have had it after the hop devil, but this one didn’t measure up for an IPA.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2014 Ok, thought I’d had this before but obviously not. Bottle in the lounge at JFK. Clear pale golden colour. Light citrus hop aroma. Drinks very easily (was that really 6.8%? Might fall asleep easily on this flight!) Mostly citrusy hop with a hint of pine, and a decent malt backbone. For an IPA with a human IBU quotient actually quite tasty. Probably the best beer I’ve had ’for free’ in an airport lounge!

pours unclear pale golden, orange tint, with a small white cap, some retention and lacing. spicy citrus, leafy grassiness, sugar candy, mint ice cream, booze, honey with a caramel touch, citrus and pine, along with woodsy-earthy undertones. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily and a bit sticky, sweetness yet under control, medium long slightly harsh grassy-spicy-peppery-piney finish. fair.

This IPA packs a punch. The first thing I notice is the intense amount of alcohol taste. Not a very good job balancing alcohol with flavor, it’s pretty rough and that says a lot because I’m a big fan of baby duty IPA’s. Definitely worthy of drinking again though.

Pours golden. Oranges, citrus, floral nose. Taste of pine, citrus, floral and lemon zest. Medium body with a solid malt backbone. Lingering citrus finish. Very enjoyable. Only thing I found strange was the twist cap, LOL.

Bottle 12oz. Pours golden with low-medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of flowers, fruits, citrus. Taste is of flowers, fruits, bitterness. Palate: Light body. Medium carbonation. Good balance. Overall: Straigth-forward american IPA. Enjoyable.

Hazy golden with a medium foamy white head. Nose is perfectly IPA with tangy earthy dank hops, with some big floral and grapefruit/orange rind, a bit of grass and lots of resin with a big caramel sweetness under it. Flavor was the same, with a strong bitter start mellowed by a big caramel sweetness, with pine, dank floral, and lots of zesty grapefruit. Perfectly balanced and bold and sweet. Lovely all through.
