sirpsycho (212), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 1, 2008 Draft at Mad Mex (Monroeville). Pours a pale amber, small beige head. Aroma is slightly hoppy and sweet. Flavor is the same but more subdued. A smooth, decent beer, but not hoppy enough for me.
TOSG55 (52), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA Jan 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours a yellow gold, with a fizzy head. Weak aroma of hops. The flavor has a nice dose of hops, but is off-puttingly bready and soapy. An odd cherry flavor is also present. Not bad, but very run of the mill. Birdiebeagle (273), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 7, 2009 Bottle Pours a clear gold with a good white head. The head lasts very well and produces good lacing. Aroma is of hops and citrus. Very Smooth and lightly carbinated. Almost more flat than crisp, but is good. Has a very soft aftertaste. A very drinkable IPA. I personally like one a little more robust but this is good and you could drink many in one sitting. badwhale (39), Bitterville, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 23, 2008 Copper to yellow. Not much head. Nice lacing in a frosy mug.
Nice IPA aroma. Hoppy finish, no aftertaste.
Delicious mikalooch (57), , New Jersey, USA Dec 22, 2008 Pours penny copper with a medium head which disappears quickly. Malt and mango in the nose with hops hiding underneath. Very subdued, mild hop taste with malt and banana bread. Slightly sweet and dry with medium carbonation. Not bad, defintely worth a try. SQNfan (573), Wheaton, Illinois, USA Dec 5, 2008 This poured a solid copper in color with a thin head. The nose is filled with lots of sweet citrus and tropical fruits with a touch of crème, herbs and caramel. In the mouth it is medium-bodied with plenty of carbonation and a dry, slightly bitter finish. Overall, this was well-balanced and enjoyable. If this was a local, it would be easy to put this in a regular rotation.
