12 oz bottle. A very light tasting IPA with a notable citrus presence. It pours a golden orange with a modest white head. Very aromatic-citrusy. A handsome beer. If you are on a date with someone who is new to beer tasting, order her one of these.

12 oz bottle from Niagara Falls Wegmans. Pours a lightly cloudy bright orange colour with smaller white head. Aroma is quite citrusy with sweet caramel and bread. Flavour is big on citrusy hops with notes of grapefruit and tangerine, with a solid, sweet maltiness that has lots of breadiness and some caramel. Modest bitterness in finish. Medium body. Nice one.

Rated from notes taken 2 Sep 2011 -- Strong bittering hops, more light on the aroma and flavor hops. I like it, however.

Pour at McGreevy’s in Boston. Dark amber pour with a very slight white head. Nose is malty with a bit of hops. Taste is more on the amber / malty side - some hops if you go looking for it, but tastes more like an amber. Its good, but could use another dose of hops.

A dark amber color with a white head. The aroma is full of caramel and citrus. The flavor is bitter yet malty. Some orange, lemon, caramel, and grassy notes. Overall this is a complex yet odd IPA.

Bottle from Top Hops beer shop, New York, NY. A golden/straw coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Hoppy, malty, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus, malty, quite mellow but lacking complexity, still fine.

Transfer from BA review on 10-11-13- Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – The beer is served an orange amber color with a one finger of pure white foamy head. The head fades slowly over time leaving a great level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a citrus smell. The citrus is a mix of grapefruit hop and some tangerine and orange. Along with these smells are some lighter notes of tropical fruits with some mango and pineapple as well as a bit of pine hop. Overall the aroma is sweet and nicely hopped. Taste – The taste begins with a grapefruit hop flavor and some sweeter flavors of a tangerine nature. Along with these, are some bready flavors, with the three flavors (bready, tangerine, and grapefruit) creating a base for the beer. Soon after the initial taste other flavors of a light pine and a bit of caramel sweetness comes to the tongue. The tangerine in the base then starts growing more intense with it really sweetening the beer at the end. With more grapefruit hop coming to the tongue at the end of the taste as well, a rather sweet and citrusy hopped taste is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average side. Both are rather nice for the blend of sweet and hoppy and make a rather enjoyable drinking brew overall. Overall – A very tasty, sweeter, and citrusy IPA. Not a hop super-powerhouse, but very easy drinking, and more balanced then many. Quite nice.

Bottle - Pours a clear golden/amber with a smallish head. Aromas of citrus and some pine. Grapefruit notes with a nice balance of bitterness. Decent IPA.

12oz bottle Aroma nice and fruity but not as strong as most "hoppy" advertised beers, smell compares to Ithaca Flower Power. Appearance: has the look of a very high end IPA adequate head, lots of lace left on the glass.. Respectable appearance Taste: honey on the tip, sweet, malty.. Finishes with a dogfish 60 min amount of hops. Palate:more carbonated than most IPA beers, which doesn’t allow the complex flavors coat the tongue .. Overall: it’s a beer that’s presentation not quality markets this beer. It isn’t bad, but isn’t anything spectacular. Buy a sixer of Dave’s pale ale, and get a little better beer imho.. Bottleing has a wow factor that could intrigue even the biggest beer snob you know.. Enjoy the beer it isn’t bad at all.

bottle @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Hazy medium amber with a good head cover streaks of lace. Taste is malt that is engulfed by pine hops on the swallow, and that is all that remains in a long finish. Balance is skewed toward bitter, but it’s a drinkable IPA.

Bottle. Cloudy gold beer with a tall white head. Medium body with lots of carbonation, strong bitter finish with powerful floral hop aroma. Good assertive ipa
