Pours copper with a small white head, a bit of yeast, don’t remember if there was lace. Nose is yeast, big malt, citrus and pine hops. Taste is big malt, and minor hop finish. Didn’t expect this much malt in an IPA, that wasn’t classified as a belgian ipa. Medium bodied, normal carbonation, smooth texture. Quite sessionable btw.

Jan 1, 2010 On tap at Oldsmar Tap House (Tampa, FL). Pours a clear amber to copper color with white one finger head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, floral hops, pine, grapefruit, honey. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of pine, grapefruit, honey, caramel, floral esters. Generally medium body with a pleasing hop bite on finish.

Dec 31, 2009 of the beers i’ve had the pleasure of experiencing that have a strong citrus aroma, this one had a more respectable execution. big grapefruit notes. worth trying again.

Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy amber body. Off-white, frothy head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of sweet pineapple, orange, citrus, grapefruit and flowers with hints of caramel, The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately. bitter. Medium body, watery/velvet texture and lively carbonation. Sweeter than many American IPAs, but quite good. Hops are bright enough to stand up to the sweet, malty backbone, but not bold enough to scrape your tongue. Very enjoyable.

Dec 11, 2009 12 oz. bottle via trade with j12601 - Pours a clear golden color with a one finger thick off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is very malty. Probably an older bottle. Mostly toasted bready malt. Flavor is a little more balanced. Finish is also malty with a little hop bitterness. Medium body. A nice beer. Thanks Jay.

Dec 3, 2009 Bottle at a friend’s house. Pours a brilliant orange. Bright aroma but I can’t pick out much other than citrus hops. Taste is bitter citrus with a good malt balance. Clean finish. Nothing really stands out for me on this one but not bad.

Nov 25, 2009 On tap at Bukowskis, Boston, October 2009. Gold colour with a moderate off-white head. Mix of citric and spicy hops with a slightly earthy undercurrent. Balanced by light biscuity malt. Good solid IPA but nothing to really distinguish it from the crowd.
