Our Mosaic Session IPA is a light, straw-colored, West Coast version that showcases serious aroma. It features Mosaic, Simcoe, and Centennial hops that lend strong tropical fruit characteristics to a light body and dry finish. You wonít be able to drink just one Ė and with less than 5% ABV, you donít have to. Mosaic Session IPA is an homage to Blue Point Brewing Companyís storied history, a tale that is preserved on the original Tasting Room bar top that dates to 1997. Itís also one of the most personal beers weíve crafted in a long time. Like the brewery itself, itís been a work in progress. Our history is very much a mosaic Ė made up of a lot of talented people with a passion for brewing, and we think this latest brew is where our past meets our future.

Bottle. Really nice hoppy nose, clear floral nose. Taste is a hoppy, but not as hoppy as expected. Medium body, average carbonation.

Poured from the tap at Carolina Ale House in Columbia, SC. This beer has a nice hoppy aroma. The color is a clear amber with a nice white head. The taste is full of mild hops with a floral presence. This is a very enjoyable beer.

Pours a medium golden color with two fingers of eggshell foam. Nose has some soft melon, citrus, wet toasted grain. Palate follows with nice upfront hop profile, foggy grain backbone and a hint of toasted complexity in the light bitter finish. Enough hop nuances to keep it interesting, nothing off putting especially for $4.99/4pk of 16oz.

16oz can, picked up a 4-pack for $5, maybe that was the first red flag...pours clear amber with a finger of foamy head. Nose is actually fairly nice with some juicy melon, grapefruit and a kiss of light toasted malt. Front of the palate starts off ok with some bitter melon, grapefruit, and citrus, however then transitions into a strong thin aggressive bitterness that is very pithy, watery, and ends with an almost strange metallic note, with dry grass, and stale malt.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and soda like carbonation. Aroma is of citrusy hops, tropical fruit and bready malt. Body is medium and tangy. Citrusy, floral hops, bready malt and tropical fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long, dry, and grapefruity. Well made brew.

Lilly and marigold nose. Clear amber, medium head, good lace. Milk chocolate then lemongrass. Full body, moderate carbonation. Very strange beer. It tastes good, but probably not as intended. Iím wondering if I even got the correct beer. More than likely, a chocolate porter of some kind had been poured on this line previously for a long time.

Bottle poured a hazy orange with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit, tropical fruit and light peach. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, citrus and a hint of earthiness with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Pours yellow-orange with a half finger white head with just a little lacing. Aroma is of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, and some light bready malts. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a slightly watery, slightly dry, semi bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice session IPA that features one of my favorite hops pretty nicely.

Nice session IPA that goes down smooth and not heavy at all. Good on a Saturday afternoon after you've just mowed the lawn. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
