COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Mosaic Session IPA is a light, straw-colored, West Coast version that showcases serious aroma. It features Mosaic, Simcoe, and Centennial hops that lend strong tropical fruit characteristics to a light body and dry finish. You wonít be able to drink just one Ė and with less than 5% ABV, you donít have to. Mosaic Session IPA is an homage to Blue Point Brewing Companyís storied history, a tale that is preserved on the original Tasting Room bar top that dates to 1997. Itís also one of the most personal beers weíve crafted in a long time. Like the brewery itself, itís been a work in progress. Our history is very much a mosaic Ė made up of a lot of talented people with a passion for brewing, and we think this latest brew is where our past meets our future.

Clear, copper pour with a white head. The aroma has hoppy pine with malty undertones. It has a medium body with lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a quick finish.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy, copperish gold with a medium head that quickly disappears. Taste and aroma both are overwhelmingly pine and spruce with a tad of citrus fruit.

16oz bomber can into glass. Pours a thin orange bronze juicy juice color, def on the lite side. Thin dissipating light head, then itís gone. Aroma of the Mosiac hop, as advertised, earthy, grainy, grassy, yet subdued. Taste of more Mosaic, thin grass leaves, spruce, orange, Clove. Nice jr. Ipa.

12 oz. bottled 12/09/2015. Mostly clear, orange-amber body is pretty lively and supports a thin meringue of foam. Luscious aroma of pineapple, peach, orange zest, toast and pine resin. Front flavors are the same nice blend. The finish has a bit too much woody pith and resin, but still tasty. Light-medium body has a medium plus, mostly smooth carbonation and is pretty drinkable.

Extra from trade. Light yellow gold. Nose is nice slightly earthy and citrus hops. Taste follows, with that weird wheaty session thing. Okay.

clear amber color; nice floral hop aroma with citrus notes; a well balanced beer; citrusy hops with tropical fruit notes on a light, bready malt base; dry, bitter finish

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold body with a very small and thin white head. The nose is nice fruity mosaic hops over a clean bready malt base. The flavor is a bit thin on the malt side, but I suppose that lets the hops shine a bit more. Light bitterness, but bright hoppiness. Light bodied and a bit thin maybe, with fizzy soft carbonation. Pretty nice effort, an easy drinking session IPA.
