COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Imperial or Double IPA is a brew not to be taken lightly. Crafted in small batches from the finest European malts and American hops. A huge earthy hop aroma is followed by a pleasant caramel sweetness. Four hop varieties round out this perfectly balanced beer that is sure to warm your soul and for that we offer No Apologies!

Draught@Oliver Twist, Stockholm (backlog). Hazy orange colour, small off-white head. Aroma is resin, spruce, citrus, mild diacetylic notes as well as mild alcohol. Flavour is resiny, toffeeish, fruity citrusy and quite big on the bitter side of it. Still very pleasant flavour, though Iím not a big hophead.

Bomber bottle. Thanks brother. Twas the night before Christmas, and this beer poured a golden honey color. Aroma of floral hops, caramel, biscuit. Medium to heavy body. Medium bitterness. Has big malty backbone. With generous floral pine hops. A mouthful of a dipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: † Thick and hazy dirty amber, light to moderate frothy sandy head, so-so lacing. † Heavily caramel biscuity sweet aroma, slight overcooked vegetables detract. † Not as offensive on the tongue. † Pale caramel, minor overcooked vegetables, a little citrusy, but not biting. † Comes across more as a weak American Barley Wine. † Moderate body and mouthfeel. † Strong sweet tea, caramel, and citrus peel on the finish. † Canít tell its 10% which is nice, but the overcooked vegetable aspect takes away from the experience.

from Mondial de la BiŤre 2013, Mulhouse - hazy orange beer with no foam left; fresh piney and earthy hoppiness with notes of apricots; very tasty, lively; full-bodied and with hugely bitter; very dry fruity hoppy finish - great stuff

Pours amber with off white head. Smells of dried fruit. Taste is similar to aroma with light bitter. Light carbonation.

Very nice representation of the style. Pours a copper/brown with half-inch head. Aroma of fresh hops but not so much on the initial mouth feel. Has a lingering flavor that produces more hops as it lingers. All in all...nicely done

I like this. Itís like a heavily hopped, IPA version of an American strong ale. It pours a hazy, deep peach color with a frothy head, and average carbonation. Rich, malty aroma. The flavor is a woody, sweet caramel thatís not overshadowed by the big, tart hop character. This one leans to the malt side in a big way, and it was a nice change after several nights of extra bitter IPAs.

22oz bomber. Pours an orange/amber color with a medium size creamy tan head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, grapefruit, lemon zest, and caramel malt. Taste has lots of citrus hops, grapefruit, lemon, caramel malt, and floral hop bitterness towards the finish.

Donít remember much about this beer other than what I put in my notes. Smell is all malts. Pours to the brown side of orange. Too, too, too sweet for style. I wrote the word "malts" multiple times in my notes.

Rich copper and light amber coloured body with a rich, thick three centimetre tall tan head - nice. Aroma of tons of bright grapefruity and piney hops with some resin, tons of alcohol and some sugars. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong hop flavours throughout with a ton of pine, resin, alcohol, malt, sugars and a bit of nice light fruits. Aftertaste shows some nice sweetness, plentiful amounts of alcohol and a lot of nice and pungent hops. Overall, a very nice Imperial IPA with some great flavours and a good sweetness - some complexity, but not in the league of some of the other ones. Still, this is nice to sample and well worth searching out. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased yesterday at Foragerís Cafe in Brooklyn (DUMBO), New York, New York on 13-July-2013 for US$13.29 sampled on the train back to Washington on 14-July-2013.
