3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On cask at Cask Republic - New Haven, CT. Lightly grainy aroma, touched with some almond. Flavors are okay, if mild and too heavy in the crystal malt department. The body is rather wussy, even for a cask ale. It’s lacking the right sparkle and cream. Middling, but clean, stout.

Mało intensywny aromat, wyczuwalna laktoza, kawa z mlekiem. Czarne, nieprzejrzyste niezła piana. Brakuje mu ciała ale smak świetny. Goryczka ze słodyczą. Posmak słodki.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Pours a very dark brown color with a small white head- quickly dissipates. A nice smoky, fruity nose. A big fruity cola flavor, almost like a black cherry coke, some toffee, light roast. Smooth. Fizzy. Fine beer, not spectacular but drinkable. OK.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The first oatmeal stout I've tried. Pours a dark brown color with a thick tan head. Has a slightly sweet and mildly smoky aroma. I got the notes of dark chocolate and coffee.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thank you, Sarah.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-dark brown close to black color with a one finger white to off white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There’s some light lacing here and there in a messy sort of way.
The smell had some light grainy/oatiness in a really super sweet sort of way. Light cinnamon toasted bread was a fairly decent description of this one.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this one sat right at about a medium on the body. Sessionabillity, uhh...somewhere there, it seemed kinda slick over my tongue.
Overall, for the most part, I honestly couldn’t tell you if this was a sweet stout or an oatmeal stout, was it good, sure was. I’d have it again.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2014 Bottle at oatmeal stouts tasting at Beer&Beyond shop. Pours dark brown-black with a tan head. Roasty aroma, some chocolate and herbs. Sweet with roasted malts and coffee flavors. Thin body, watery texture, missing smoothness and creaminess. Did not feel oats at all. Mediocre stout.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is roasted malt chocolate coffee and oats. The appearance is dark brown with a tan head. The taste is like the aims except it has a sour acidic quality. The palate is thin. Overall drinkable but not the best.
