Commercial Description:
Blue Point Octoberfest is another palate-pleasing seasonal brew. Originally brewed in 1810 to celebrate the betrothal of the Crown Prince of Bavaria, Blue Point continues the celebration by traditionally brewing this special malty amber lager every October. Octoberfest lager is stored cold for 2 months to ensure its distinct smooth flavor. Tap a pint and celebrate the season!

Draft. I have never really had a good blue point and unfortunately did not start here. Kind of watery and not a lot of flavor and like a souped-up BP toasted lager, or maybe I should say brothed-up

Tap @ BP. Clear amber color with an off-white head. The aroma is malty and a little fruity. The flavor is malty, nutty and toasty with a mild bitterness on the finish.

Clear amber pour with a bit of white head. Mildly sweet/clove beginning with some light hops at the end. All in all, very similar to Blue Point’s Toasted.

It had a clear amber body with fluffy white head. It had a bitter finish, and overall a good beer by Blue Point once again.

Pours deep golden with average white head. Aroma is sweet, frosted cereal and has a feint hint of marachino cherries. Thin, and has a slightly sugary sweetness (artificial) upfront. Cornflake, cereal, light oatey flavors. Very little bitterness (if any).
