bonbright7 (161), Bellport, New York, USA Sep 10, 2008 Pre-release sample from BP. This light orange to gold beer looked great as we poured this into tasting glasses. This lightly spiced beer reminded me of a wheat or wiezen style as its slight sudsy head seemed to have milky texture. I found this very enjoyable to drink and I hope to see this on tap too.
beerbill (1455), Laurel, New York, USA Nov 26, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Looks like this is the third 3 rating a row! Pours a clear medium gold with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first third of the glass and left partial lace. Very light aroma of malt and an ever-so-slight metallic smell. The flavor is again light malt but with no sign of the metallic notes in the aroma. Dull, lackluster finish. Mediocre. michael-pollack (1685), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 18, 2008 12oz. Bottle: Aroma of malts, bread, sourdough, caramel, and grains. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, grains, honey, caramel, corn, and dough. Light to medium body. Thin, oily texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, grainy, caramel finish. alobar (725), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 26, 2008 Clear copper color with a short-lasting white head. Aroma of toasted malts, some caramel.
