3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at Brazen Head, Downtown Brooklyn. Clear amber/orange with a decent white head, leaving some sheets of lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops. Flavor of grapefruit zest hops, with a tea-like dryness and astringency and a resiny hop finish. My only problem was that it had a too thin, soapy and watery body (which could be viewed as "drinkable" or "goes down smooth"). I’d prefer a bigger palate, but otherwise a pretty good session APA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
cask, gravity pour @ Goodbar Special beer night. Body is a hazy gold, veryt hin head w. large bubbles. Nose is first & foremost glorious hop. PLenty of tangerene, citrus (orange, lemon, pineapple) gives way to some light caramel malt. Flavor is light hay, light caramel, orange, resin, tropical fruit. THis is far from the best IPA I’ve had but extremely drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery. Pale golden beer, white head. Sweet citrusy hops. Simple and cascady. Moderate bitterness and a simple malt bill lets the hops shine. Easy to drink.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Oyster Bar Restaurant in Grand Central Station, NYC. Solid, standard APA, light orange appearance, fluffy white head with good thick lacing. Sweet floral aroma. Light citrusy flavor, a little bit of malty back end with some nutty accents. Hint of mint in there as well. Mouthfeel could be a tad thicker, but does not detract.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deep golden amber color, clear. Light somewhat thin nose. Roasted, smoky charcoal taste- charred bacon/bacon bits. Slightly chalky texture. Not bad but I’d pass on ordering again.

Still unclear about what makes a style of beer "hoppy fresh". This tasted dry like many English Pale Ales I’ve had, and was very much the heighth of style. Decent color. I would take this over something stronger, for the flavor.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice fresh hoppy pale ale. I think this i sway better than thier IPA. Nice very pale yellow color with a nice head and good lacing. Lots of american cirtusy hops which leave a lot of resin on the back of the throat. Very drinkable and gets your attention. Shocking how this is only 4.6%.
