COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Point Brewing's Pale Ale has a light golden color but explodes with a rich full-flavor. This refreshing ale is top fermentated and hopped at three different stages of the brewing process. English pale malt lends complexity to this brew. Small amounts of Wheat and Carapils round out the malt bill. Brewed to satisfy the hop lover, this pale ale has an immediate floral-citrus flavor that pervades the overall character of this hoppy, quenching microbrew.

Bomber from Oak Tree. Pours hazy orange amber with a 4 finger foamy/creamy beige head. Aroma seems fruity/floral. But it’s thick head. Med body. Flavor is floral and slightly bitter fruit (probably citrus) over a detectable malt backdrop. This leans towards ESB given the nice hop choices. It’s lightly astringent and definitely bitter. At 4.6 this is definitely sessionable. Good pale ale.

from Mondial de la Bière 2011, Strasbourg - clear deep golden-bronze beer under a solid long lasting creamy foam; nice lacework; a fair flowery and slightly piney hoppiness, medium-bodied and with a assertive bitterness; slightly astringent; dry and bitter flowery hoppy finish - good though lacking of complexity

On tap at the brewery. Pale golden beer, white head. Sweet citrusy hops. Simple and cascady. Moderate bitterness and a simple malt bill lets the hops shine. Easy to drink.

Overwhelming, grapefruity C-hops merge into orange zest formation and deftly fly through the nostril forest...Less assertive than expected from the aroma, the flavors seem to attempt balance but fail, as caramel sweetness is nowhere near as confident as the exhibitionist hoppiness...A very good hoppy pale ale, aimed to please lovers of citrusy bitterness...

Deep straw yellow wearing a low white head. Explosive minty c-hops, grapefruity and citrusy with a nice cookie malt base. It appears remarkably balanced for what it is. Grapefruit oriented taste, but with this nice mint touch adding to the typical orange and light lemon. It’s mostly straightforward, but pleasant nonetheless. Mostly thin to medium bodied with a high carbonation. I’m usually not a fan of C-hops redundant stories, but after a few so-so beers, this one was welcomed and I may have overrated it.
