COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
According to Linus there are 3 things never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin. Our Pumpkin Ale, on the other hand, has made quite a buzz from New Hampshire down to Florida. Every season has its pleasures. Harvest your own with our Pumpkin Ale and reap all that Autumn has to offer. Brewed with pumpkins from only the most sincere patches, this seasonal brew is golden orange, crisp and delicious, with an innocent hint of cinnamon and nutmeg that articulates our favorite season. Gather with friends and family and enjoy the change of seasons while savoring a pint of Pumpkin Ale. Just like the leaves, itís gone after Thanksgiving.

Pours a clear dark orange amber with medium foamy offwhite head. Aroma is cloves nutmeg and bit of stale malt. Flavor is pretty light on the palate, sweet malt base, tad bit of dry metallic notes, then a very slight spiced pumpkin finish. Overall Iíd say this is a slightly below average pumpkin ale.

Nice aroma, cinnamon and nutmeg are present. Pours a clear bronze with a white two finger head. Taste is kind of bland and unbalanced. Palate is thin. Overall, if you are looking for that crisp fall or pumpkin beer, youíll want to at least give it a shot.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark orange with a thick off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and sweet malt. Flavor is less spicy than the nose with more of the sweet bready malt coming through. A little bland, boring, and sweet. Drinkable, but not the best representation of the style. 7/4/6/3/13 [3.3/5]

Draft. Clear light amber color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of subtle cinnamon. Taste is dilute nutmeg. Thin.

Lost my notes at the tasting, just have the numbers. Do remember that I was hoping for a lot more. Itís not bad for a lighter pumpkin, I just have high expectations in the style.

On tap at Blackthorn Pub, Holly,Mi...Decently balanced and drinkable pumpkin beer. Spices are not overwhelming and the pumpkin comes though nicely in this very drinkable fall offering.

Bottle. Not really a fan of this one. WAY too spicy in the nose, with the spices almost punching you in the face. The taste is far far muted comparatively, but not the type of flavor palate I like. You really get the cloves and spices in this, and far too much for me.

Bottle. Very drinkable but not overly flavorful. Light body, good head, but more like a light beer then a solid pumpkin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint at Tribeca Tavern. Ok aroma, sweet, spice.. weak. Nutmeg, little pumpkin. Brownish orange color, good head that faded quick. Spotty lace. Sweet spiced flavor. Lighter body, smooth slick mouthfeel, sweet finish. Meh, weak on aroma and flavor. Tap handle says "mother pumpkin" nothing particularly worthwhile to say, Meh.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and a touch of caramel. It pours a transparent copper with a two finger off-white head that has good retention and leaves some nice webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light caramel and pumpkin. The finish has light nutmeg, light ginger, and cinnamon. Itís medium bodied with somewhat lively carbonation. Overall, itís decent but itís a tad on the light side flavor-wise for my pumpkin beer preferences.
