According to Linus there are 3 things never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin. Our Pumpkin Ale, on the other hand, has made quite a buzz from New Hampshire down to Florida. Every season has its pleasures. Harvest your own with our Pumpkin Ale and reap all that Autumn has to offer. Brewed with pumpkins from only the most sincere patches, this seasonal brew is golden orange, crisp and delicious, with an innocent hint of cinnamon and nutmeg that articulates our favorite season. Gather with friends and family and enjoy the change of seasons while savoring a pint of Pumpkin Ale. Just like the leaves, itís gone after Thanksgiving.

Lost my notes at the tasting, just have the numbers. Do remember that I was hoping for a lot more. Itís not bad for a lighter pumpkin, I just have high expectations in the style.

On tap at Blackthorn Pub, Holly,Mi...Decently balanced and drinkable pumpkin beer. Spices are not overwhelming and the pumpkin comes though nicely in this very drinkable fall offering.

Bottle. Not really a fan of this one. WAY too spicy in the nose, with the spices almost punching you in the face. The taste is far far muted comparatively, but not the type of flavor palate I like. You really get the cloves and spices in this, and far too much for me.

Bottle. Very drinkable but not overly flavorful. Light body, good head, but more like a light beer then a solid pumpkin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint at Tribeca Tavern. Ok aroma, sweet, spice.. weak. Nutmeg, little pumpkin. Brownish orange color, good head that faded quick. Spotty lace. Sweet spiced flavor. Lighter body, smooth slick mouthfeel, sweet finish. Meh, weak on aroma and flavor. Tap handle says "mother pumpkin" nothing particularly worthwhile to say, Meh.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and a touch of caramel. It pours a transparent copper with a two finger off-white head that has good retention and leaves some nice webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light caramel and pumpkin. The finish has light nutmeg, light ginger, and cinnamon. Itís medium bodied with somewhat lively carbonation. Overall, itís decent but itís a tad on the light side flavor-wise for my pumpkin beer preferences.

This was a good pumpkin ale, and Iím not normally much of a fan. Nice nutmeg in the aroma and faintly in the taste. Like the pumpkin notes. Enjoyable.

Slightly bitter pumkin beer, spices, pumpkin. It is pretty average if you ask me.

Bottle. The aroma is full of pumpkin an spice, a nose full. The taste is on par. A nice smooth pumpkin taste. Also get some nutmeg. Overall a solid effort for a pumpkin ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Dark amber with a tall, foamy beige head. Aroma is cinnamon and nutmeg up front with pumpkin pie notes and caramel following. Taste is big cinnamon and spices, caramel, sweet malt, pumpkin pie and soft hops. Body is medium with a frothy, moderate carbonation. Ends with more spice notes (mostly cinnamon), caramel, pumpkin pie and brown sugar.
