COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
According to Linus there are 3 things never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin. Our Pumpkin Ale, on the other hand, has made quite a buzz from New Hampshire down to Florida. Every season has its pleasures. Harvest your own with our Pumpkin Ale and reap all that Autumn has to offer. Brewed with pumpkins from only the most sincere patches, this seasonal brew is golden orange, crisp and delicious, with an innocent hint of cinnamon and nutmeg that articulates our favorite season. Gather with friends and family and enjoy the change of seasons while savoring a pint of Pumpkin Ale. Just like the leaves, it’s gone after Thanksgiving.

Pours good amber colour with a little head to hold in the aroma. Smells good with the pumpkin spices. Tastes mild - a tad spicy too. Easy drinking.

Among pumpkin ales, one of my favorites so far. Lots of spices, not very hoppy. Quite smooth and easy to drink - I think the best overall word would be "pleasant."

Bottled August 11, 2012.
Appearance: The body is very clear with a dark amber hue, it is absolutely placid though. A light tan head is on top with decent retention and a heavy coating sits on top.
Aroma: Spices dominate the flavor without being too assertive with cinnamon and nutmeg and a sweet malt backing.

Taste: Sweet and balanced rather well, malts and a cinnamon and nutmeg backing, maybe some cloves.
Palate: Medium bodied with light stabbing carbonation.
Overall: Not a bad pumpkin beer at all actually, worth trying and deciding for yourself.

Bottle. Pours amber. Medium sized white head. Strong spice aroma. Some lacing. Spice also in the flavor and mouthfeel, but less intense. More spice then pumpkin. A bit thin. Very drinkable, just not memorable.

Bottle, pours a light brown, aroma is a nice spice. Lots of cinnimon and nutmeg in the flavour, a nice backbone and a easy drinking beer

Pours a clear dark orange amber with medium foamy offwhite head. Aroma is cloves nutmeg and bit of stale malt. Flavor is pretty light on the palate, sweet malt base, tad bit of dry metallic notes, then a very slight spiced pumpkin finish. Overall I’d say this is a slightly below average pumpkin ale.

Nice aroma, cinnamon and nutmeg are present. Pours a clear bronze with a white two finger head. Taste is kind of bland and unbalanced. Palate is thin. Overall, if you are looking for that crisp fall or pumpkin beer, you’ll want to at least give it a shot.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark orange with a thick off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and sweet malt. Flavor is less spicy than the nose with more of the sweet bready malt coming through. A little bland, boring, and sweet. Drinkable, but not the best representation of the style. 7/4/6/3/13 [3.3/5]

Draft. Clear light amber color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of subtle cinnamon. Taste is dilute nutmeg. Thin.

Lost my notes at the tasting, just have the numbers. Do remember that I was hoping for a lot more. It’s not bad for a lighter pumpkin, I just have high expectations in the style.
