Bomber. Sweet nose heavy in PNW hops and rye, very strong caramel and even burned/scorched undertones. Pours orange-copper with a yellow-tinged, foamy dense head. Tastes of heavy rye with some caramel and stale rye, some earth and woody/fruity hops, medium-strong sweetness is a little too much, alcohol hidden, spicy and floral notes thankfully not. Relatively smooth medium body. Good, zinging hop flavor but the rest is something of a lightweight.

Paid $3.99 for a 22 oz. bottle@ Hampton Falls Village Market. Hazy orange amber color with a thin white head. Aroma of earthy hops, caramel and rye. Taste is better than I was expecting. Sweet fruity notes up front with balanced malt leading to a spicy rye finish. The bitterness is cut short by the sweetness. Medium body. Slick texture. I drained the bomber very easy and I have to say I could drink more of this. Nice Stuff. I’m sure it would be pleasant on cask as well. Nice brew.

Tap. Pours clear reddish amber with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is caramel and rye, touch of pine. Lightly sweet, very light bitterness, light rye spiciness. Meh.

Pours copper with some haze, off white head. Aroma is citrus and rye. Taste is mild bitters, but more sweetness. Medium bodied with some stickiness on finish.

22oz bomber. Pours a slightly hazy dark orange with two fingers of white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, lightly bready, spicy, with some orange citrus. Taste is toffee, citrus, and rye bread.

Bottle. Pours a clear light golden orange color with a small white head. Nose is light rye with some sweaty malt notes. Palate is somewhat crisp but a bit sticky. Flavors of light grassy hops, rye, and sugary malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a crystal clear deep copper color with a nice big beige head that persists forever. The aroma is caramel and toffee with an herbal earthy edge and faint traces of yeasty plastic phenols. The flavor holds much of the same attributes from the nose. Caramel toffee and butterscotch mixed with earthy floral hops and a weird herbal almost medicinal flavor. Medium body with moderate level of carbonation and a slick bubbly mouthfeel. I thought this one was ok but nothing special. Its got a weirdness to it that I just couldn’t get into.

Hazy amber beer, little white head. Crispy palate with sharp minerals and carbonation. Dry. Grainy start with some rye. Trace of toffee. The minerals keep going. A little cream in the malt. Tiny bit of orange hop at the crisp finish. More toffee and rye as well. Okay.

22oz bottle 1/16/11 (Orlando)-Pours a clear amber with a small off white head. Aroma of rye, malt, spruce, and caramel. Taste of the same with hops, more rye, and spices. This medium bodied breww was nicely balanced. Great brew.

Draft at station tap room. Pours clear copper with a small off white head. The aroma Is spicy rye, caramel, citrus, light pine. The taste is dominated by rye bread and sesame seeds, light citrus.
