Medium brown with medium brown head. Aroma grassy and piney hops, and some bread-like malt. Medium full body. Flavor is overall sweet. There is some bit of spice, and some hops. Drinkable for sure but I think a little too sweet and a tad out of balance.

Cask at the Ginger Man, NYC, 23/11/13. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is hops, rye strains evident, citric notes, woody tones, bitter orange. Taste comprises orange pith, caramel malt, rye notes, light spice, hint of grapefruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, light spice and hop bitterness in the finish. Decent drop - suited cask conditioning well.

Malty sweetness that reminds me of dried leaves and dirt. some light spicy rye and herbal hops are there as well.

Bottle. Light brown pour with thin white head that dissipates. Medium carbonation with ipa aroma. Interesting flavor with hop presence and rye on the back. Enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Champs Altoona. Pours brown with an inch of white foam. Leaves some trace lacing. Nice rye notes of the nose even with the massively frozen glass. Lots of spicy rye on the tongue. I hate rye beers that don’t taste of rye. This ones pretty groovy.

This is a good one. Good pour with a nice head and lacing. Good sweet aroma and taste. Hops follow and the rye really makes this one stand out. Good brew.

Taster on tap at HopCat in East Lansing. Clear golden orange color. Little off-white head. Some loose lace. Medium body. Lighter, kind of crisp carbonation. More dry finish. Sweeter taste for an IPA, moderate bitter. Caramel malt, rye is very subtle. Some spicy hop. Alright.
