On tap at the Waterfront, New York on 9th July 2013. Slightly hazy amber with white ring of initially lacing foam. Yeastiness, hops and sweet malts in aroma. Hoppy with rear-mouth grassiness, while caramel malt clings to front of mouth. Bittersweet, well-balanced finish -bitterness among smoothly-blended flavours. Light carbonation, easy drinking for the strength.

On tap at the Knick. Really nice floral hoppy aroma, sweet with caramel and some brown sugar. Spicy rye grain notes. Hazy medium amber with thin off-white head. Medium body with heavy carbonation and carbonic fizz. Starts medium sweet with biscuit and toffee, light spicy character and decent floral hop flavor. Light sweet finish and smooth after.

Pours a dark amber with white head. Has a faint malty aroma. Has a slightly bitter, hoppy taste to start with a sweet, floral taste as well. Ends very malty

Hazy copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of rye, spice, caramel, and flowers. The taste is much sweeter with less hop and spice than expected. Medium bodied and slightly dry with mild carbonation. Slight metallic aftertaste.

Bottle. Pour the exact color of Snapple tea. Needed a vigorous pour to generate head. A little flat on the tongue and no hop presence. Sweet and grainy. Maybe it was old. I donít know.

Tap at monks. Light hazy orange brown color strong white head with good lacing. Floral and spicy earth notes from the hops and rye. Sweet caramel earth sour rye taste. Dry finish and enjoyable. One of the better offerings from blue point.

Bomber. Sweet nose heavy in PNW hops and rye, very strong caramel and even burned/scorched undertones. Pours orange-copper with a yellow-tinged, foamy dense head. Tastes of heavy rye with some caramel and stale rye, some earth and woody/fruity hops, medium-strong sweetness is a little too much, alcohol hidden, spicy and floral notes thankfully not. Relatively smooth medium body. Good, zinging hop flavor but the rest is something of a lightweight.

Paid $3.99 for a 22 oz. bottle@ Hampton Falls Village Market. Hazy orange amber color with a thin white head. Aroma of earthy hops, caramel and rye. Taste is better than I was expecting. Sweet fruity notes up front with balanced malt leading to a spicy rye finish. The bitterness is cut short by the sweetness. Medium body. Slick texture. I drained the bomber very easy and I have to say I could drink more of this. Nice Stuff. Iím sure it would be pleasant on cask as well. Nice brew.
