Flavor is floral hops up front, followed by a caramel and nutty note and has a lingering bitter finish of roasted malt and floral hops.
Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jun 2, 2008 Draft. Pours a light yelllow body with a white head. Aroma is bitter hoppiness with some earthy notes and malt. Plain and simple not much to the flavor a little pine from the hops which disipates slowly. zach8270 (1404), Henrietta, New York, USA Jun 2, 2008 (cask @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Amber in color with a soapy white head. Aroma is very hoppy and floral with some sweet hints. Flavor is bitter and floral at the start with some caramel and malt notes afterwards and a finish that has a nice mixture of pine and citrus. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head. Clear. Sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor of caramel, hops, roasting, pine, chocolate, and malts. Medium body. Tingly texture turned dry. Flavor was sweet and not at all hoppy, but a good balance was there.
