Howler from Steinbach LC. Copper body white head not much retention some lacing. Faint sweet malt aroma. Taste is grains sweet only the faintest hint of that "toast". Okay.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On draft. Pale Amber in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of sweet caramel malt, vague sweet citrus, and earth. More sweet and caramel elements on the palate, along with dirt and florals. Medium bodied with a mineral finish. Bland and sweet.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A heavier bodied beer. Heavier and sweeter then I prefer. Not bad, but not as smooth as Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

On tap at the Bier Markt Don Mills. Pours a clear orange colour with large cream-coloured head. Aroma is toasty grains, sweet caramel and a light grassiness. Flavour is also fairly sweet with solid caramel and toastiness as well as a little grassiness. Average body. Decent.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very smooth, easy drinking lager. Not too sharp and not too heavy. A Bit easier to drink than Yuengling, which can feel a bit heavy at times.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the Metropole, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear orange-hued gold color with a small fizzy off-white head that settles in patches. Seems to hit the whole slate of malts they advertise, with toasted sugars, caramel, dry crackers, earth, a little grassy snap, and some dusty grains. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, sweet, toasty mouthfeel. Not bad. Ever since A-B InBev bought these guys, they’re showing up and offering me new ratings in places where there aren’t many options.

Very clear amber.
Medium body, moderate flavor, good carbonation and heat, long palate.
Hoppy but not very characterful, strong malt background.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at JAX Aloft. Somewhat sweet, toast and faint nuts with barely detectable, earthy hops. Clear amber under a thin, white collar. Sweet toasty flavour with moderate bitterness that longed for a bit. Medium high carbonation, crisp, medium light body.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Pour House in Toronto. Translucent amber with off-white head retaining nicely and leaving little lace. The aroma is not really noteworthy - not what I’d relate with toastedness. More like an average Vienna - grainy, malty, with quite nice sweet honey-like notes. The flavour’s similar, but unfortunately, with a disappointing bland finish. Soft, crisp carbonation. Medium body. Not among the best gulpers of this kind, but not bad overall.
