COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Point Brewing’s Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

Blue Point’s Toasted Lager is a totally okay beer to fit just about any setting or time of year. Brownish amber color. Toast notes are light and pleasant. As you’d expect, bread-like Lager yeast and mild-medium hops. Light-medium bodied. I expect to see this around more and would probably get another.

Much like those Spanish toasted lagers, actually. Clean fermentation and light toasty malts. Drinks just fine, but a little undercarbonated. It’s nice enough. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Keg @ Beerhouse, Bradford. Golden with a thick head. Has a strength represented through a heavy chewing-gum taste

355 ml bottle @ Timo A.
Pours clear dark golden color with a small head. Aroma has toasted malts and grain, some hops, cardboard tones, fruits and some resin. Flavor is slightly herbal and grassy, some grain and light malts, subtle wheat tones. Bitter palate, slick. Quite simple.

Where / How: 12 oz can at Nationals Ballpark. Appearance: It pours amber with a bit of cooper. It has a moderate white head with low head retention. It is clear overall. Aroma: It has aromas of citrus and caramel which are fairly well balanced. Taste: It has caramel flavors with citrus and toast. The balance is slightly towards the malt. Pours a pale amber with a big rocky antique lace head. Mild malt and hop flower aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt, toasted bread, buttered biscuits, mild spices and hop bitterness that is only in the background. Very good and refreshing. This is a good representation of a pre-Prohibition American lager.
