Blue Point Brewing’s Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass at the Iron Abbey in Willow Grove, PA. The appearance is a light brown color with a large tan colored head. The aroma is big on hops and grain, really nice aroma. The taste follows the aroma with some added malt. Overall, a pretty decent lager.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2016 I had it on tap. It pours amber with an off-white head. The aroma is faint caramel and bread. The taste is bread, toffee, a bit toasted, and a hint of hops. There is nice carbonation. This is simple but flavorful. It paired nicely with my steak.

On draft. Pale Amber in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of sweet caramel malt, vague sweet citrus, and earth. More sweet and caramel elements on the palate, along with dirt and florals. Medium bodied with a mineral finish. Bland and sweet.

A heavier bodied beer. Heavier and sweeter then I prefer. Not bad, but not as smooth as Sierra Nevada Pale Ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the Bier Markt Don Mills.‎ Pours a clear orange colour with large cream-coloured head. Aroma is toasty grains, sweet caramel and a light grassiness. Flavour is also fairly sweet with solid caramel and toastiness as well as a little grassiness. Average body. Decent.

Very smooth, easy drinking lager. Not too sharp and not too heavy. A Bit easier to drink than Yuengling, which can feel a bit heavy at times.

Draft at the Metropole, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear orange-hued gold color with a small fizzy off-white head that settles in patches. Seems to hit the whole slate of malts they advertise, with toasted sugars, caramel, dry crackers, earth, a little grassy snap, and some dusty grains. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, sweet, toasty mouthfeel. Not bad. Ever since A-B InBev bought these guys, they’re showing up and offering me new ratings in places where there aren’t many options.
