COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Point Brewing’s Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

Can pour of clear copper with a thick off white head. Aroma of toasted crusty bread with a hint of sweetness. Taste of slightly sweet toasted malt with a hint of citrusy hops. Smooth mouth feel that has a well balanced sweet and malty finish. Overall very well balanced beer that is enjoyable to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Nutty, caramel. Sweet. Some citrus. World Beer Cup awards, from Silver (2004) to Gold (2006) in "American-Style Amber Lager" category. A bit more complex than other beers that taste like it such as George Killian’s Irish Red by Coors.

Pours light amber with a thin layer of off-white head. Aroma is somewhat metallic with some apple-like esters and some slightly sweet toasted caramel malt. Flavor is very sweet with smoked nuttiness as well as some of the cider-like fruit qualities.
