3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle by way of trade with Leighton. Cheers. Clear, copper colour. Thin, lasting, clingy, white head. Looks good. Yep, it’s toasty. Grainy, fruity, toffee malts. Beyond that, not a lot. Taste is sweet, first off, turning fruity dry. Get some saccharine with this. Moderate body. Finishes short, grainy dry.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Pours a beautiful golden honey color. Aroma is malts, honey, hop character, little bit of a pale lager quality but more substantial. Taste is crisp and refreshing with a little bit of honey, malts, little bit of rice. Overall quite nice for a lager.

Bought a bottle of this at a store that let you pick 6 beers to make up a six pack. It’s good but I’ve tasted much better beers. I will try it again sometime.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
APPEARANCE - dark golden color for a lager, due toasting no doubt. Head dissipates quickly.
NOSE - Typical lager. Nothing special.
FLAVOR - definite overtones of lagers but a bit, well, toasty. Lagers aren't my fav, but this one is pretty solid.
NOTES - definitely one of the better lagers I've had. My first Blue Point offering & based on this I'd definitely like to try some others.
