COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Point Brewing’s Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

On tap at Duffy’s in Port St. Lucie. Pours dark orangey-brown with an off white head. Aroma brings toffee, some grain, caramel malts. Taste has caramel, some bread, a slightly syrupy sweetness. Finishes medium length.

12oz bottle courtesy of beerbill, pours brownish/amber with a small off-white head. Aroma has a simple caramel maltiness. Predominately caramel malts with slight hints toasted flavor, and yeast on the finish. Kind of a muddled mess, but not horribly unpleasent.

Pretty rich lager flavor reminiscent of toasted nuts or bread. The malt flavor comes through a bit, but not as much as one would like.

Pour from a 22oz bottle. Light amber brew with small head. Aroma of fant floral hops, maybe a little toasted malt. Taste reveals respectable complexity to the malts, though rather thin and weak. Nice but modest hops in the finish. A nice brew.

Pours a copper color with frothy white head that sticks around a while. Slight aroma of toasted grain with a definite fruity note thrown in. Delicious toasted grain/bready flavor up front with a kiss of floral hops in the end. This is one fine Vienna Lager, probably the best American version I have had.

Has a sweet, malty taste with a short and slight bitter finish. It goes down easily but nothing too special about this standard brew.

Pale golden color, medium cloud white head. Aroma very mild malt, of course its easily drinkable because it is a watery lager. Could not appreciate the toast in this toasty lager, short crisp dry finish. Well, if you like lagers than this is for you.

Draft at Friday’s. A touch sweet, but nice malty aroma and taste. Clear light amber color with modest head. Little hop influence.

Clear golden color with a nice white head. Light malty nose. Really nice lager with some cracker and bread crust with a nice hoppy note in the finish. Real nice lager.

Bottle. Poured clear dark amber color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate toasted balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable smooth brew.
