Blue Point Brewing’s Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

Bottle @ home via trade. Thanks! Pours a rust orange appearance with a cream colored head. The aroma has a nice lemony smell going on with some sweet toasted cracker notes. Some caramel and plenty of herbal notes. Nice body. Moderate sweetness. Herbal / earthy hops in the flavor. Maybe a touch thick mouth feel. Overall pretty damn good brew.

12 oz can pours an amber color with a nice white head. Aromas of caramel, roasted malt. Light bodied, simple, but good for that very reason

$4 bottle from Three Blind Mice in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Drank straight from the bottle, so I’ll skip the appearance. Toasted lager this is... on the nose and in the taste buds, there’s a really nice toast and caramel flavor that leaves a slightly sweet aftertaste. The carbonation is fairly high, which makes this really drinkable with its low bitterness. I tend to find lagers a bit boring for the most part, but something as simple as making the beer taste a bit toast-like worked very well. I’d have another one. It’s a good beer to drink after you’ve had a few, but are still looking for something with a little bit of flavor.

Rcvd in trade. The appearance was a hazy amber/copper colored body with a one finger white foamy head that dies within about a minute leaving a nice speckled thin white lacing. Carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace. The smell is bready with a caramel maltiness and gets kinda toasty yet buttery as it warms. The taste has sweet caramel breadiness that comes across fairly smooth and crisp. There is a sweet roasty caramel aftertaste and long sweet finish - nice - I like it. The palate is about a light to medium, and pretty sessionable. Carbonation runs along my mouth and tongue fairly smooth and is good for the style and for me. Overall, hey nice American Red Lager that I would have again.

12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. Amber with a tight cream head; sweet aroma with a tough of honey; toasted grain taste; and a smooth dry finish with a hint of caramel. A nice Vienna.

Hazy amber color. Thin lingering head. Faint aroma. Slightly sweet malty taste but surprisingly light. Complex and interesting. Slight bitter finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This one has a nose of an IPA. However, it has the taste of a smooth rich lager. Best of both worlds! Nice medium amber color. I just found another favorite beer!!!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
