COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Point Brewing’s Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

Very good lager. Makes me want to not be afraid to be a lumber jack. But it’s such god darn dangerous work. Oh well.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and clear copperish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of toasted malts, light roast, and grains. Tastes of toasted malts and grains, There was something else in the flavor I just can’t put my finger on - almost a sweet, vanillish something. Thinner body.

I thought this was a nice effort. It has some really nice copper looks with a nice firm head. The nose had a nicely tamed aroma of malt. It had a fair amount of bitterness that blended out to a nice smooth palate.

Light beige head about 1 cm thick. Good carbonation. Light roasty aroma with some bready malts, vanilla and a touch of hops. Color is a orange amber. Light and crisp flavor. More tasted graisn, and more of a hops presence. Good balance between the hops and the roastyness. Finished with a little bit of alcohol presence which I am quite surprised at with only 4.8% abv. Lingering malty sweetness and a hint of hops bitterness. This is a pretty good brew and s pretty good representation of the style.

Copper brown, pleasant nutty, malty nose. Very mild hopping, sweet palate, bordering on cloying. Nice, malt driven beer, but perhaps a bit too sweet to really enjoy in any kind of volume.

Pours copper with diminishing white head. Lacing evident. Nose of toasted grains with a hint of hop. Nice and smooth. Easy drinking. Good session beer.

Bottle - Dark amber color with a creamy head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor is similarly sweet malt with some roasted grain notes and slightly hoppy balance.
