COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Point Brewing’s Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

Mellow and easy drinking toasted lager. Nice light brown color with some added flavor to a regular lager.

Bought a bottle of this at a store that let you pick 6 beers to make up a six pack. It’s good but I’ve tasted much better beers. I will try it again sometime.

APPEARANCE - dark golden color for a lager, due toasting no doubt. Head dissipates quickly. NOSE - Typical lager. Nothing special. FLAVOR - definite overtones of lagers but a bit, well, toasty. Lagers aren't my fav, but this one is pretty solid. NOTES - definitely one of the better lagers I've had. My first Blue Point offering & based on this I'd definitely like to try some others.

12 oz. bottle. One of the best looking lagers that I have ever seen, a handsome looking beer that pours a foamy whiteout of a clear copper. The aroma of toasted crusty bread with a hint of sweetness. Taste of slightly sweet toasted malt with a hint of citrusy hops. Smooth mouth feel that has a well balanced sweet and malty finish. Well balanced.

This beer is nice after you've had a few drinks. It's toasted notes set it apart from other traditional lagers.

Catching up ratings....... On tap at Detroit Airport. Pours a clear amber color with no head. Aroma of bread and sweet malts. Taste was the same. Not much for flavor, not very bitter, just a typical lager with a toasty twist.

Draft at the yacht club, listening to Rickshaw Lizard! Copper color with off white head and minimal lacing. Fresh bread and toffee. Smooth balanced clean dry finish... Solid lager.

Light tan pour, quick tan head. Nose is roasted grain. More sweet than bitter. Middle is honey and light roasted grain. Finish is slightly dry with a grain hint.
