12oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a medium golden with a medium white head. Aroma of sweetness and citrus. Taste of the same with some hops coming thru. This light bodied brew is well balanced and easy to drink.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden pour with smallish fizzy head and no lacing. Malty aroma. Flavor was light grainy malt with a mild hop bitterness. High level of carbonation present in this one as well. Kind of boring...but it is a blond ale, so go figure.

pours a clear amber with a white head. aroma is hoppy; light sweet citrus and floral notes. taste is crisp, a bit sweet, lightly hopped with a smidge of pine. mid-light bodied with an average carbonation. smooth, nicely rounded. quick finish. decent lacing. would be a great session beer or just a nice refresher on a summer afternoon. bonus points for the low price.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle, thanks to Secret Santa! Pours orange and semi-clear. Very malty grain, and sweet bread like aromas. Smells like brew day. The taste is straight golden ale. Very light grain, with just a hint of sweetness. Fairly plain on the whole. Light watery body. There is nothing offensive about this brew and no off flavors or aromas. It’s just kind of blaa.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I sampled this hometown beer poured from the bottle. The beer had a long-lasting white head and was a full amber color. The flavor was both moderately bitter and sour. It had a medium body with lively carbonation. A somewhat grainy aroma of hops can be detected.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz Bottle-Pours a cloudy golden color w/a slight white head which dissipates quickly. Grassy, citrus aroma. Crisp, clean grainy flavor w/traces of fruit & lemon. Very fresh tasting with decent carbonation which seems to add to the flavor. Very smooth-very refreshing-very drinkable. Reminds you somewhat of a witbier. Good choice if you are looking for a refreshing "summer" brew.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle via trade with hopscotch! - Thanks Jason! - Pours golden with a short white head that didn’t stay long. Aroma is mostly light grains and not really much there. Flavor is much more fruity. Lemon notes, over those light grains. Some light hops. There just isn’t much to this one. It is light and refreshing and crisp and clean on the palate though. A fair session I guess and would be refreshing in the summertime.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2006 Took the tour of Blue Ridge Brewery and bought some of this after having some at the tasting bar. I guess I’m not used to fresh beer. But I like it. This brew pours a deep golden clear color with a large head that dissapates quickly but leaves some tracing on the glass. Very carbonated, and very sharp. Packed with flavor. Not excellent, but everything a microbrew should be... so much more character and taste than the macrobrews dominating America, so it’s safe to say I will never buy a Coors, Bud, or Miller product ever again. Not when something like this is available in my area.
