Goodgrief (1043), Middletown, Delaware, USA Apr 12, 2008 Golden pour with smallish fizzy head and no lacing. Malty aroma. Flavor was light grainy malt with a mild hop bitterness. High level of carbonation present in this one as well. Kind of boring...but it is a blond ale, so go figure. efrumtheidiot (174), Czech Republic Jan 24, 2008 pours a clear amber with a white head. aroma is hoppy; light sweet citrus and floral notes. taste is crisp, a bit sweet, lightly hopped with a smidge of pine. mid-light bodied with an average carbonation. smooth, nicely rounded. quick finish. decent lacing. would be a great session beer or just a nice refresher on a summer afternoon. bonus points for the low price. RSRIZZO (1018), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Sep 25, 2007 Had this beer on 9/14/1999. Color is a hazy gold. Taste is damm good. Light body goes down smooth with a very good hoppy finish. brentfeesh (937), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Dec 4, 2006 12 oz bottle, thanks to Secret Santa! Pours orange and semi-clear. Very malty grain, and sweet bread like aromas. Smells like brew day. The taste is straight golden ale. Very light grain, with just a hint of sweetness. Fairly plain on the whole. Light watery body. There is nothing offensive about this brew and no off flavors or aromas. It’s just kind of blaa. Derek881 (343), Frederick, Maryland, USA Nov 27, 2006 I sampled this hometown beer poured from the bottle. The beer had a long-lasting white head and was a full amber color. The flavor was both moderately bitter and sour. It had a medium body with lively carbonation. A somewhat grainy aroma of hops can be detected.
