Nice aroma, good color, ok taste. Full body with malt and a hint of caramel flavor. A bit on the tart side of things when it comes to taste.

Jan 1, 2008 Dec 2005 - Beer poured dark color with next to no head and lacing. Aroma of roasted malts. Taste was rich and full...roasty, sweet and even a nice, slightly bitter finish. Well done, esp. for the money.

Apr 3, 2007 Pours a medium black with a small head of tan bubbles. Smells or earthy malts, chocolate and coffee. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a very straight forward, drinking stout. Flavors are also of chocolate, balanced nicely with roasted malts and hops. Alcohol is just right, solid.
