A beautiful traditional german lager, has a beautiful full bodied flavour, with floral hallertau hops, and pale munich malts. this beer is very easy drinking with a superb finish. has subtle citrus undertones.
Reminded me of the beers i had in the beer gardens in munich.
at $14 a six pack!

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
this lager is typical of the average Australian beer, but slightly better than the average commercial brew. It holds a head well, is gentle on the nose, has a soft palate & not overly or aggressively hopped. It is well gassed, leaves no unpleasant after taste, not heavy on malt flavours but does have a subtle grainy tang on the front of the palate. Generally presents as a refreshing pale amber ale

bit of a let down really. Brilliant appearance but is a let down from there. Not much flavour or finish. Not worth seeking out.

Pours gold with white head. Good balance between the malt and the hops. Easy to drink, not pale lager is not the most exciting of beers.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
a light bodied, pale lager with a typical Australian lager taste, without the unpleasant amounts of carbonation and unpleasant aftertaste associated with typical mainstream Aussie beers. This is exactly the thing I can see myself drinking on a porch up in Cairns. Itís not the most lager youíll drink, and certainly not the most exciting beer (itís really rather forgettable), but for the price itís a bargain buy for a sweaty, Sunday session.
I feel it delivers exactly what itís intended to deliver, and itís inoffensiveness makes it a great beer to have around to offer to guests whose tastes you donít know. Iím glad beers like this exist.
It is what it is, and Iíll be buying it again.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
FNQ lager is one of 3 beers that are bottled for home consumption by the Blue Sky microbrewery at the moment. It is mainstream Australian style lager. It pours bright yellow with a dissipating white head. Nose of subtle floral hops with a hint of fresh sea air. Flavour is typical sweet malt with a mild lingering nasal bitterness to the finish. Medium-thin bodied. A refreshing and easily sessionable lager for the tropics.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle. Clear and bright amber colour with an even layer of delicate white foam. Cereal grain aromas reminiscent of most pale lagers. Medium body with barely a ripple of bitterness. Light on the palate with not a lot to offer.
