3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 paullypisspot (12) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 2, 2012
A really excellent Pilsener. Very easy to drink, a good amount of hoppiness without being over the top. A very good "session beer". Well worth a go if you can get hold of it....
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Maris (745) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - OCT 10, 2012
From a 330ml bottle on 11/10/2012. Pours a clear light golden with a medium head. Has a very slight malty aroma. This is more sweet than bitter. The saaz is there but quite muted. If you want something with about a third of the flavour of an Urquell, this is for you. A fairly ordinary pilsener.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jdpeebs (636) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 18, 2012
330ml bottle- A decent pilsner. Subtle hop bitterness. Drinkable on a hot day.
4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 qldbeerman (12) - Fortitude Valley, AUSTRALIA - MAY 29, 2012
Australia’s most awarded pilsner it says on the box and I can see why!
traditional Saaz hops are used to create an authentic czech pilsner with a bitter start and a clean, silky finish, with undertones of citrus.
This beer is a favourite, 15 dollars a six pack? Yes please!
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Davros (1473) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 27, 2011
Pours vibrant gold with a large head.
Nose shows hay, bready malt and very faint spicy, grassy hops. Pretty restrained.
Flavours include more sweet bready malt and hay alongside spicy hops before a mild metallic bitterness finishes things off.
A bit overcarbed.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 gam (2654) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUN 26, 2011

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 michclark (88) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 14, 2011
as a pilsner fan this was a real let down. None of the attributes i love about pilasters happening hear. Very weak attempt.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 mkel07 (2340) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 1, 2011
330ml bottle. Bright golden amber colour with a soft white head of foam. It looks like it has a bit of body to it. Aroma of malt and barley with the faintest hint of sweetness. Medium bodied in the mouth and leaves a lingering dryness on the palate. This beer would suit the hot tropicalk climate of Cairns.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 bmeup (470) - Ormeau, AUSTRALIA - FEB 5, 2011
Average beer from Cairns Qld, not a lot of character but would go down easily in the tropical heat of FNQ.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 jonno (1994) - JAPAN - NOV 20, 2010
I really wanted to like this being a QLD brewer, but it has a macro taste as though it has come from CUB or the like. Maybe a slightly better xxxx? Doesn’t have the finesse of a urquell or budvar. No disernable bitterness on the finish. Quite astringent. I ended up drain pouring most of this. Oh well I’m sure it goes down easily up north.
