On tap at Citi Field. This is the worst of the 3 Brooklyn beers available at Citi Field. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Watery palate, very carbonated, and bland. Not very flavorful at all, just generic sweet caramel malt. It’s drinkable, sure, but certainly not worth the $7.50.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 PilsnerPeter (2958) - Flushing, New York, USA - APR 18, 2009
Tap at Blue Smoke: Served in a chilled mug (off to a bad start). Orange deep golden body is topped by a wispy/flimsy off white film. Stale pale malt aroma- lightly bready with restrained stale hop notes and some diacetyl. Light body with a grainy light stale pale malt flavor- papery, restrained, subdued grassy hop notes. Nothing about this beer is fresh. It is remarkably similar to Shack Meister (are all of the Brooklyn house beers at various NYC establishments re-badges?) Simultaneously homogeneous and off with notes of diacetyl and oxidation. I wish I went there hungry so I could have tried the BBQ instead.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JoeMcPhee (6834) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 31, 2009
Tap at Blue Smoke. Pale amber beer with a thick white head. Aroma is pretty solid. Soft crackery UK-type malts. Lightly earthy with a light fresh yeastiness as well. Soft crisp noble hops, a little bit floral and spicy. Great balance. Finishes dry and toasty with a soft fresh hoppiness. Pretty solid session beer.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 puzzl (3071) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 19, 2008
Tap at Blue Smoke. Amber pour, a bit of head. Nutty, clean aroma, almond, a hint of parsley. Flavor is soapy, clean and vegetal, very pure in expression and unyielding. Balanced and drinkable with good carbonation. No idea what this is a blend of but whatever.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 KnutAlbert (4377) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 13, 2008
Draft at the Blue Smoke.
Fruity, fine balance between malt and hops. Not extreme in any way, but it is very impressive that they choose this as a house beer and not an anonymous lager.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 wingman333 (333) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2007
Draft at Blue Smoke in NY; it is my understanding it is only available there. It tastes much like an Oktoberfest variety, malty, red, with ample foamy head. There was not as much bitterness as I usually enjoy but a little smoky flavor, which went well with all the food we ate while there. Good beer, great place!
