(Draught/Nitro) Pours an opaque black body with a medium cream head. Aroma of roasted malt, lactose, and cocoa. Flavor of roasted malt, lactose, toasted grain, burnt coffee grains, and somewhat dirtiness with a dry finish.

Pours black with a thick, creamy, off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is dark roasted malt with just a hint of coffee. Body is medium-thin with white nitrogen carbonation. Taste is a bit watery with dark-roasted malt notes. Finish is bitter coffee.

Deep brown in color with a solid kahki-colored thick head. Smooth with a roasty chocolatey character...similar to a guinness with more chocolatey tones.

Tower Stout–on tap-pours a light brown head and black color. Aroma is roasty/molasses-dark malt, some earthy. Taste is roasty/molasses/coffee-dark malt, secondary hops bite.

On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours a dark brown to black color with an off-white head. The aroma is heavy on the chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is more of the same. The dry chocolate really stands out and goes well with the roasted malt. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. The best of the five Blue Star beers that were on tap.

Aroma is nice, wish there was a little more of it. Nice an dark, creamy tan head. Very nice flavor of roasted barley and chocolate.

Black color/ tan head. Chocolate, coffee, dark roast malt aromas. medium bodied. Lightly astringent black roast malt, dry chocolate, coffee flavors- good.

Draught from blue star. Poured a watery black. Mild chocolate and coffee. Okay.
