COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Creamy, robust, Irish style dry stout, full of flavors from deep-roasted barley malts. The slight hint of chocolate is born of the meticulous marriage of malts and hops. Originating in Ireland, and now brewed here in Texas, this is a beer for those who desire a big taste.

Black color; thin creamy head. Light roasted malt aroma. Very smooth and milky texture, good roasted malt flavor, with the correct bitterness; refreshing, for a Stout. Interesting.

(Draught/Nitro) Pours an opaque black body with a medium cream head. Aroma of roasted malt, lactose, and cocoa. Flavor of roasted malt, lactose, toasted grain, burnt coffee grains, and somewhat dirtiness with a dry finish.

Tower Stout–on tap-pours a light brown head and black color. Aroma is roasty/molasses-dark malt, some earthy. Taste is roasty/molasses/coffee-dark malt, secondary hops bite.

I'm told their recipe changed. Incredible body and head. But it has a watery texture and is too thin. Smoky malt. An oxymoron of a beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. Good coffee aroma. Watery. Too watery. Thin mild roastedness. Disappointing.

On tap at the pub. Dark brown color that is difficult to see through. Light peeks the edges. Creamy white head. Smells of roasted notes and dark malts. Taste is slightly dry with bitter roast notes. Smooth feel with slickness. Finishes dry and bitter.
