COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our second offering. Not for the hop squeamish. Anti-sessionable in nature, Mother Hoppin’ is deep orange in color, rich in malty sweetness and heavily dry hopped. 10.1% ABV and 93 IBUs.

Poured a golden color with huge aromas of citrus mostly oranges and light pineapple followed by some light caramel. Flavors were hops and citrus up front light pine and a slightly sweet finish. The abv was masked very well with this one and I could drink this for days.

Draft to snifter. Looks solid; malty though. A semi-transparent copperish brown with foamy off-white head. Smells like a malt bomb with mild hop notes. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. Smooth, but underhopped and overmalted.

Another thick white head. Low citrus aroma and more spicy pine than the Hopsided IPA. Alcohol is well hidden behind a lovely malt base and smooth bitterness. A very well rounded Double IPA.

Smooth with caramel malt and lots of toffee. Hop profile is subdued and muted. A little bit of grass in the aroma and a touch of hay in the flavor. Finish is a tad pine bitter. Very easy drinking at 10%.

Growler. The sample I got fizzed quite a bit - not like a bottle of champagne in the locker room of the team that just won the World Series, but enough to keep me on my toes so I didn’t spill any. It pours a gorgeous clear golden amber with a thick and foamy ivory head. Strong aroma is seriously hoppy with a firm undertone of citrus, mainly orange with a little grapefruit. Flavor - ah, what flavor, richly hoppy, evergreen, fruity, Mandarin orange, just a little bitterness, actually sweeter than most IPAs I have tried, teeny soapy hint. Firm, smooth texture has plenty of fizz - you can feel it going all the way downstairs. Viva Blue Tarp!

Unusually smooth strong double IPA with excellent balance between the extreme hops, full malt body, and zesty clean finish.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2013 This poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma contains quite a bit of pine and citrus. The flavor contains some oranges and lemons. The aftertaste is rather bitter with some booze showing through. Overall a good IPA.

Have to say one of the smoothest beers I have ever had at the 10% mark. Great color and nice bold crisp taste with no nasty after bite. Rich aroma and all around a great beer thats not too heavy on the stomach.

Brewvival Trip Beer 39. Draft sample at Ale Yeah, Roswell. Pours a clear amber color with a large frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical and herbal hops. The taste is tropical hops, candied citrus, umami, pale malts. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. A bit different. Solid DIPA.
