Drinkable, but not a lot of substance to it. It’s smoother than your everyday macro, but there’s something missing, something that sets it apart. Won’t be rushing back to try this again soon. In a word: disappointing.

Westmeister (589) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 22, 2011
Bottle. Pours a super transparent, golden yellow with decent splatter lacing. Took a deep wiff right after the heady pour and smells of straight wet grain and some unwanted minerals funk. The taste has a sharpness and a funky bitterness to it with some grainy sweetness. This is supposedly "premium" and I was expecting something more, but this just isn’t good at all. Too fake, too sweet, too grainy, too blah.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/9/2011. Pours a very pale yellow with a small head. Has a slightly unpleasant grainy chemical aroma. Tastes bad - bland, overly sweet, and artificial. Horrible and worse than I was expecting. Avoid.

trashy, chemical aftertaste macro lager swill masquerading as boutique, microbrewed offering. horrible, avoid like the plague.

floydian1 (537) - FNQ, AUSTRALIA - FEB 7, 2011
Bottle. A yellow beer with a small rapidly disappearing white head. Aroma and taste is light sweet malts with a light floral hop finish. Low carbonation for the style. Lacks body. Sessionable. Heineken is usually cheaper.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity grainy aroma. Sweetish malty grainy flavor. Has a sweetish fruity malty grainy finish.

Rather unexceptional lager, and quite nondescript in every respect. Not memorable.

quite bland and boring, as with the rest of blue tongue’s beers. definately many more beers to have over these

Davros (1021) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 13, 2009
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2011 Pale gold pour with a rapidly fading dismal head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is of grainy malt, lemon juice and some faint grassy and metallic hops. Typical boring aussie lager. Very similar flavours. Grainy aussie malt combining with a weak metallic bitterness threatens to block out any other flavours. Active carbonation suits the style well.

Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden colored brew. Sweet aroma. Sweet, crisp, malty.

frankcolub (61) - Ashbury, AUSTRALIA - APR 26, 2009
UPDATED: NOV 8, 2009 Bottled. Pale yellow, little head but a bit of hop aroma and flavour. Nautrally brewed from small brewery , expected better , it’s just an average commercial premium lager.
