Pours agolden color with a decent head and has bits of lacing. Mild aroma of fruit and bit of malt sweetness. Aroma is quite clean. Light taste of fruit and malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, smooth and actually has a bit of malt flavor, more than most light beers out there. Not a fan of light beers but at least this one seems to have a bit more than most in this style.

(bottle) Pale amber colour, considerable head for a light beer.
Remembering this is a light lager, I have to admit I didn’t mind it.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tasting from Jan’ 2010.
Pours bright, an orange tinged gold with big bubbles adherant to the bottom of the glass like white balloons to a ballroom floor. Each one it seemed released at five second intervals up to a soda-like loose island of white suds, peculiar! Soft nose reminiscent of rye-bread and pumpernickel, and rusty nails, not too enticing. Malt driven in the mouth, strangely similar to a Birell NA beer. Rye bread, burnt toast, cracked, black pepper and yeasty dough flavours dominate. very low hop notes bar the spice, no bitterness to balance. Bready aftertaste is short, the body watery light but saving grace is the mild carbonation. Pretty unusual as it does come across as an NA beer, needs more HOPS! Doesn’t refresh too much but does fill you up if that is a positive. (33cL, no date stamp, Condello’s Bunbury)

330ml bottle. Looks like it has a bit of body for a low alcohol beer. Bright golden amber colour with a thin wispy head. Aroma is basic and reasonably bland maltiness. Reasonably well flavoured with malt aftertaste. If I was going to drink a low alcohol beer this would be it.

This definitely appears to now be called Bluetongue Premium Light. The description on the brewery tasting notes is the same as the description here for "Nobbys Light".
Draught. Gold with little head. Steely aroma. Very light body, medium carbonation. Grain and vegetable taste. It’s not bad for a light beer.

Think this is now just called "Light". Cardboard and water with some citrus cordial. I now know why I don’t like light beers.
