MiBG Winterfest 2010 "Hands Off My Goat Stout": Basically opaque with a small tan head. The aroma has notes of oatmeal, chocolate, toasted malt with hints of plum, smoke, and mint esters. The taste has a nice fruitiness and oat character along with some chocolate, vanilla, toast and charred coffee. The mouth feel is lively and refreshing with a bit of oat body. Overall more that a passable stout offering, would try again.

Excellent light stout with plenty of carbonation. Beautiful appearance & aroma is excellent. Taste is a lighter stout.

On tap at the brewpub ("Hands off my goat"). Pours a dark brown with a thick light tan head. Aroma of chocolate and oats with a touch of roasted malt. Flavor is quite sweet and oaty with maple, chocolate syrup, and roasted malt. Sweet with a hint of lactose. An interesting and different oatmeal stout.

On tap at the Blue Tractor in Ann Arbor. Poured a deep brown color with a small sized off whitehead. Aromas of roast, oatmeal and chocolate. Tastes of the same with the oats stronger and more present.

Draft sample at Blue Tractor. Poured a black color with an average brown creamy head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium roasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.
