A medium bodied dark ale with roasted barley and chocolate malts, balanced with American hops and fermented with American yeast.

Tap at the brewery. Black pour with a small creamy head. Aroma is dark roast, light chocolate and light smoke. Tastes like roasted coffee, charred wood, and light chocolate. Smoke in the finish. Decent porter.

Yuck. Not a julie porter. Grassy and like licking hay and carmal malt. Yuck she is not impressed and gives 1 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At the brewery in Ann Arbor, this beer is a chocolaty Porter with decent flavor and a little barbeque sauce. Its solid but nothing to write home about.

On tap in ann arbor. Smooth and smoky. Sweet aroma, not hoppy. Definite hint of bbq sauce. Easy to drink with a burger, but can be a touch cloying. Unique, and worth a try on a warm day.

Had a taste on tap at Blue Tractor in Ann Arbor. Tasty - restrained, easy, but full flavored. A little on the sweet side.

On tap at Blue Tractor. Pours a clear brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong roasted malts with a bit of dark grain and bitter chocolate. Flavor is similar with growing strong roasted malts complimented by bitter chocolate.

One of the few Blue Tractor beers that I would say is "good". Pours dark with small head. Aroma of coffee and heavily roasted malts. Flavor is nice and robust, with only hints of coffee and mostly roastiness. Relatively easy to drink, and went very well with my burger. Not a lot of hop bite at the end, but I tend to like the coffee and roast flavors more. Pretty solid beer.
