Sampler at BBC downtown. Bright peachy amber color with a thin, lasting head. Aroma had very little to it...mostly malt. The flavor and body were very light and mostly malt with some residual sweetness.
2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 AndyW68 (392) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Not for me. Orange brown white off white head. Would have called it burnt orange if I liked it more. Aroma of grapefruit and lemon. First impression of the taste was that I was drinking a lemon scented cleanser. I like most of bbc, just not this. It looks and smells nice. Does that count?

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jcweaver (697) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Bottle. Pours copper with a small beige head. Very light aroma of sweet malts and citrus. Flavor of moderate sweet malts and earthy and citrus hops. Finish is more toward the malty side with a touch of citrus and pine hops. Also a strange herbal note.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 probstblueribbon (2378) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 22, 2012
12 fl oz bottle via my bro, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear copper with a nice light tan foam.
Aroma: Strong caramel and sweet, sugary malts, grapefruit and marmalade, rye bread crust, fairly citrusy, a little pine/resin, a touch savoury/brothy, quite fruity, some berries, maybe apricot?, nice.
Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence.
Flav.: Much more stark than the nose, quite resinous, a bit floral, fairly earthy, not nearly as friendly, dry, earthy malts, a little burnt sugar, quite different from nose; dry with strong bitterness and a stark, earthy, stern finish.
Holy bipolar brew, Batman!

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 beersak (62) - akron, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Dark amber color. Strong flavor beyond hops. Make this one into an OPA and it might be ok.
