Taster at Jungle Jimís Barrel-Aged Beer Bash 2015. Mostly hazy amber orange color. Pours with the most impressively-sized head Iíve seen thus-far at this event (most beers here pour looking quite flat). Itís a nice half-finger off-white head, leaving good ropes of lace. Up front in the aroma is honey, caramel, a touch of strawberry shortcake, as well as some oaky vanilla woodiness. Medium-plus body. Smooth kind of soft lighter carbonation. Lightly slick texture. Bigger sweet taste, light bitter, with some bigger warmth on the end, a mild hint of a bite. I wonder what the ABV is? Hint of C02 smell in the nose. Tasty stuff overall, but I donít really need more than a few sips of it before Iíve lost interest... Not terribly complex, but solid overall.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of sour acetic notes, honey and whisky. The taste is butter, honey, apples and acetic notes. Sour and off, but not too bad. Medium bodied.

Lots of honey, hibiscus, orange zest, orange rind, and aroma. Hot and boozy, but lots of honey barley wine flavor makes it like a hot toddy. this really kicks ass. On cask at the 12 South Winter Warmer beer festival in Nashville, TN
