On cask. Deep golden/amber hazy body. Bubbly, off-white head, mostly diminishing. Big citrus aroma of orange peel, orange, lemon and grapefruit. Hint of peach, toast and caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture with lively carbonation, even for cask. Deceptive ABV because it’s so easy drinking and refreshing — almost wit like. Great citrusy, fruity tastes. An interesting take on an IPA. One of the better Bluegrass beers I have had.

Draft. Poured a deep amber with a large off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Good yeast and hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate balanced hop flavor with a moderate smooth bitter finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2010 tap. light amber and clear with thick white foam. Hoppy beer that is crisp and leaves almost no aftertaste, well, besides the hoppiness. I fail to detect how this is "Belgian" but that could be ignorance on my part (likely). A dangerous beer since it’s ABV is so high and it goes does so easily. A "one and done" for me, NEXT!

Mild hazy amber with thin off-white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, caramel and light hops. Taste of light sweet malts, Belgian yeast, mild dark malts with a mild bitter aftertaste from tasteless hops. It’s an okay beer, the best the sampler has to offer.

Pours dark golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of mango, honey, grassy hops, citrus, and sour orange. Taste is citric, herbal, notes of mango, hop resins, and tropical fruits. A pretty tasty brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Strange little experimental brew. Light orange in color and slightly cloudy. Aroma of Juicy Fruit gum. Extremely hoppy in aroma and flavor. Strong banana clove experience.
