Body has a nice caramel sweetness and smooth lightly chocolatey finish. Served too cold, but was quite nice once it warmed. Almost pitch black ale with red highlights and a small, frothy, beige head. Good retention. Toasty, milk chocolaty, nutty nose. Chocolaty flavor. Good balance. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Lengthy, chocolaty, lightly bitter finish.
