Draft at St. Matthews. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart fruit, earthy and wood aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with lively car4bonation. Medium woody earthy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Very interesting beer.

On tap at BBC’s St, Matthew’s location. Dark brown pour, coppery highlights. A fast-fading light brown head with some lacing. Nose and flavor is vinous, oaky, vanilla, and alcohol, with a dry, wine-like finish. Quite good, though I can’t compare it to the "unoaked" variety.
