On tap at the Cincinnati airport taproom, 4/2/06: Gristy and grainy both in aroma and starchy flavor. Tangy bite to the finish. Good alternative for the Bud Light crowd. Well balanced yellow beer.

Daft. Typical golden with a thin white top. Grainy scent. Sweet malt taste.

On tap at Forecastle. This stuff was not a well done blonde ale. The color was somewhat on point, but that’s about it. Malt bill was a mess.

On tap at BBC in the Cincy airport. Poured clear straw golden without much life.. just a light ring of head. The aroma was on the weak side with dusty lemon rind, hay, and a touch of corn present.. non-offensive, but non-a-few-too-many other things as well. The flavor had light pale bready malts at the core with quite a bit of lemon zest around.. also some light and complimentary botanicals. Very light-bodied on the palate, but overly watery for a small stretch on the back.. dry at the end and refreshing.

Had on tap at the brewpub. This must have been made for people who come there expecting BMC. Not much to say about this one.

Im sorry to say it.....but there is really no reason to drink this stuff. clear piss gold with a disappearing white head. as far as aroma goes......well there isnt much....smells like a pale lager....i thought it was a lager.....its not a lager? flavor......a bit more than aroma......buttered popcorn.....yup popcorn Diacetyl? DMS?........not sure never been able to pick out either but if i had to guess this would be the beer. light and fizzy. just not that great. if you can get this you can most likely get apa. go for the bbc apa.

Draft Cinci airport. Lots of flavor at first, then kind of goes away after you get used to the beer.Easy to drink and made my short layover a bit more pleasant. Hoped for more after tasting their altbier before.

On draft at the Louisville Airport. Poured light golden yellow with a smallish head. Light hop aroma and a bit of corn. Flavor is very much corn with a bit of hops. It was unoffensive and flavorful even if it was all corn. Something to slam in an airport.

Draft at Cincy Airport. Clear straw color with a small frothy white head that was gone quickly. Light hoppy aroma. Light body with thin texture. Light bitter sweet flavor with a short finish.

Pours a bright golden color, crispy looking, with a foamy white head. Aroma of hops and light hint of fruits. A creamy smooth taste with a mild bitter almost citrusy acidic finish. Very refreshing on tap on a hot summer day at American Turner’s 7/9.
