COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
German-Style wheat beer made with traditional 50% wheat and 50% barley malts. The ale is straw in color with a light body and the traditional "banana" flavor. Hefe means unfiltered which produces a cloudy appearance due to the suspended yeast. 5.0% ABV 12 IBU

German Hefe? Not quite, BBC. Aroma had some slight banana, but no clover spice as expected in a German Hefe. Appearance was cloudy golden with barely any head. Flavor had a little banana, and cherries? Didn’t expect the cherries, but it was the most interesting thing about this mostly mundane beer. Palate was non-descript. Rather boring.

Too strange for a Hefe. Looked like on however, lots of bubbles and a hazy yellow body. Smelled like hops and oranges with a hint of banana, but all too light on the scents. The taste was bitter and dry, with notes of hops and again, some banana and light spices. Light enough to be a refreshing drink when its about 100 degrees outside. ForeCastle ;-).

Draught in a pint glass. Pours honey colored and hazy with thin white head. Aroma is orange, citrus and coriander. Tastes a little smoky, sweet and it wouldn’t be a BBC beer if you couldn’t tell the presence of hop. Long finish and filmy. A good beer overall and not to sweet and typically BBC on its making.

On tap in a plastic cup. Pours cloudy light golden with an off-white head. Aroma strong of wheat, light hops, and some caramel notes. Average texture. A decent weizen beer, but not the best.

Got a growler of this at liquor barn. A very light slightly sour hefe with a slight taste of banana and traditional hefe spices. Not bad.

Draft at Molly Malone, Covington, KY. Poured a hazy yellow orange color with a moderate fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate spicy citrus & banana aroma. Medium body with a soft texture. Light to medium citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Refreshing soft drinkable brew.
