On tap at BBC. Labeled Scotts Flaming Hells Lager...im assuming this where i should enter this. nice clear orange amber body with a horrible loose head that disappears immediately. grassy hop aroma with some light caramel. good balanced flavor. sweet caramel dry hay and bitter grassy hops. finishes just the same with a touch of spice. light to medium body with moderate carbonation. nice.

Pours dark orange/golden with a fully receding off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grainy, and toffee notes. Taste is sweet malt, slight grainy, with a good malt character. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Good, but a bit too sweet with not enough hoppiness.

Draft: Brilliant gold. Dwindling off-white head subsides to a loose ring. Delicate aroma of toasted pale malt, wet hay, and flowery hops. Fairly soft, yet with a sharp mineral underlay. Tight carbonation. Stiff minerally body. Profusion of toasted pale malt flavors pounce the palate, progressively turning meatier and richer. Sufficient hop spice gives way to a mild anise bite. Lagery mineral notes coupled with slightly harsh maltiness. Complex malt display, showing hints of glaze, malt hulls and roasted wood. Subtle Munich twang, to it, as well. Oversweet honeyed bicuit flavor exudes as it warms. Finishes firmly dry, minerally, and persistently malty, with a honeydew melon trace. Although the aroma is restrained and fairly simple, there’s no trace of diacetyl. It’s also very clean in both departments, and the flavor is brightly malty and spicily hoppy, just as Helles should be. Very respectable.
